On our Secret Food Tour: Montmartre, you will discover the Guinguette spirit of Montmartre that has been depicted by many painters, that is, enjoying fine cheese with cold cuts all of them paired with wine in a picnic style meal.
Our tour is unique, designed make your experience authentic. Parisians go from shop to shop, gathering the best ingredients for their meals from a variety of specialty stores. We do the same, giving you samples of food along the way. Your local guide will share the history behind the area, local shops, and your food selections; as they purchase cheeses, wines, cured meats, and pastries. We'll end at a secret location to enjoy our meal like a local.
As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Emmanuel was a fantastic guide for our food tour of Montmartre. He gave us a history of the area as we walked and sampled various items - amazing macaroons, chocolates, crepes, croissant and cheese. And then we had a wonderful time in the indoor dining area drinking wine and hearing fabulous family stories while learning more about the fabulous cheeses and meats we were eating with fresh baguettes. The chocolate eclair pastry was the best I’ve ever tasted! Book secret tours with Emmanuel - you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful Experience with Kathelin We had a fantastic time with Kathelin, who introduced us to authentic spots in a charming neighborhood. At each stop, she shared fascinating insights about how the products were made, the ingredients used, and the French customs related to the food. The highlight was a gorgeous private experience where we enjoyed an abundance of typical French food and wine—so much that my daughter and I skipped dinner! Kathelin continued to share delightful anecdotes and explanations about how French people eat and drink. It was truly a pleasant and enriching experience. I highly recommend it if you want to eat like the French, discover a variety of cheeses and charcuterie, and indulge in delicious sweets.

Our guide Suzy was delightful. We did the 230 tour and it lasted three hours with a mix of stops to local shops and a larger tasting at the end in a secret spot that was very cozy. I would easily recommend the tour to anyone and come hungry because there’s plenty to taste We easily replace this for dinner

Dear Secret Food Tours Team, I’m not quite sure where to begin, except to say “thank you” for the delightful experience we had with our guide, Naf. She was warm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the foods we tasted, but also about the neighborhood she introduced us to. Naf made sampling such a wide variety of foods in the Montmartre area feel easy and welcoming. I would never have had the confidence to try many of these things on my own, and I’m so grateful she guided us. As we walked through the neighborhood, we enjoyed macarons, chocolates, crêpes, cheeses, and meats, each stop a visual and sensory delight. One highlight was when she brought us to a very private and “secret” dining room, where she introduced us to so many cheeses and meats that I truly lost track. Her knowledge of the food was expert, and we learned so much along the way. Thank you again to Naf for such a joyful and memorable introduction to the tastes of Paris. I highly recommend her tour, and I can’t wait to come back for another round. Warm regards, Jim Wilson

Emmanuel did a great job explaining the history of France and working it into everything we ate. Great way to get into Montmartre and avoid a lot of the touristy areas.
