We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka with our guide Salinda. Thanks to him, we were able to discover the most beautiful cities, breathtaking waterfalls, and the wildest nature. Our guide always brought us safely and punctually to all the hotels and told us a lot about this amazing country. We had an incredibly great time that we will never forget.

We had a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka with Detroves. Everything was well organized, the bus was clean and comfortable, and the itinerary was full , hiking, rafting, canyoning, tea and green tea factories, vegetable farms, and the stones factory.

We spent two wonderful weeks in Sri Lanka, filled with discoveries and new encounters. The program was tailored to our needs and expectations. This trip was made truly special by our driver, Rodney, who did everything he could to take care of us and help us discover his fantastic country.

We had a very varied trip with a lot of culture, nature and insight into the way of life of the people of Sri Lanka. We were most impressed by the landscape and magnificent views, e.g. from Adams Peak, Sigirya and the Horton plains, one of our absolute highlights. The tour was so relaxed especially by our driver and guide Chavindra Vaithiyanathan, because we really didn’t have to worry about anything. Chavi knows a lot about the places visited, country and culture, speaks super English, is a very good driver and above all a very warm and friendly person with whom we would immediately go back on tour. All in all, we had very positive experiences with Detroves and can absolutely recommend it.

Sri Lanka is an ancient and beautiful country that is diverse in its geography and customs. Four older friends travelled for two weeks with Detroves Travel, organised through our Sydney travel agent. Our tour was fantastic. Well organised, very friendly and led by our professional guide, Siri. We felt safe at all times while touring from north to south through ancient sites and a safari at Yala National Park. The people are predominantly Buddhist and are friendly honest and welcoming. We loved our time in Sri Lanka.

7 days with completely different experiences. From lively Colombo, interesting train rides, many cultural highlights, ascents of Lions Rock, daily new varied hotels with delicious food to adventurous hikes on the rails, everything was there. The tour guide Anil gave us many extra tips off the planned route and showed us places we would not otherwise have found. We can definitely recommend this private tour with.

Went as a family of four from Australia on a 10 day tour of Sri Lanka. Our guide Priyantha was very accommodating and spoke good English. He ensured that we were safe and comfortable at all times and was never late. Both the transportation and accommodation were very safe and comfortable to stay in, except for one which ran out of running water during our stay. We visited a wide variety of amazing (quite touristy) places, our favourite was Galle. We definitely recommend as a family of four!
