The Cabo Blanco Absolute Natural Reserve, created in 1963, is recognized as the first protected area of Costa Rica, here we have the opportunity to show you the magic of its forest, the important history that surrounds it, as well as the great impact it had on the Costa Rican economy and conservation.
This tour is perfect for nature lovers, during this enriching tour, you will have a local guide specializing in nature and history.
You will begin the day discovering the wonders of this tropical forest in transition, perfect for watching birds, mammals, and reptiles, as well as giant and native trees.
After a 2 hours hike through the jungle, fresh tropical fruits, water and snacks we'll be served.
During the traveling time, your guide will also explaining everything about the area and will show you the different cultural towns along the way.

What To Expect
Cabo Blanco Absolute Natural Reserve
Nature hike in the first protected area of Costa Rica with an expert naturalist guide, where you'll explore all the natural wonders of this Famous natural reserve. Our guide will pick you up at your hotel or villa, then drive for about 45 minutes, along the way, the guide is going to show you many interesting sites and lookout spots, once you get in the park, the guide will fully explain you all the story and ecology that surrounds it, as well as spotting wild animals with the telescope for an HD appreciation of the species. After 2 hours of hiking and spotting wildlife, the guide will set up a delicious picnic.
