  • Nepal, a wonderful mix of culture, adventure and nature

Our family trip to Nepal was an unforgettable experience full of adventure, culture and beautiful nature. Despite traveling in a season that was not ideal for mountain views, we enjoyed every minute of our trip. We started our trip in vibrant Kathmandu. The city is a true labyrinth of colour, sound and history. From the beautiful stupas of Swayambhunath to the lively Thamel, we immersed ourselves in the local culture and enjoyed the delicious Nepali dishes. The friendly people and rich history that breathes every corner of the city made it a perfect start to our journey. After our adventure in the city we left for a fantastic trekking to Poon Hill. The trek was doable for our family and met our expectations perfectly. Braving the trails, the fresh air and being with the family in the beautiful nature was an experience we will never forget. After the trekking we travelled to Chitwan National Park for an incredible safari. It was a real adventure to spot the many animal species in their natural habitat. We saw a lot of animals, did a canoe trip among the crocodiles, spotted various bird species and were able to admire some beautiful rhinos. The nature guides were knowledgeable and committed, allowing us to learn more about nature and conservation efforts. It was a fantastic way to experience Nepal's biodiversity. All in all, our trip to Nepal was a wonderful mix of culture, adventure and nature. Despite the seasonal mountain visibility restrictions, we made the most of our time, and we look back on this experience with a warm heart. Nepal has taught us to enjoy the journey itself, rather than just the end goal. We cannot recommend this trip enough to families looking for a unique and adventure-rich holiday!

My brother and I spent three weeks in this beautiful country and had an absolutely fantastic time. We had a customized trip which we were able to include everything we wanted to do. During my trip, I was able to visit many interesting places like Chitwan, Lumbini, Tansen, Pokhara, and Kathmandu. We trekked the Ghorepani Poonhill trek as well. I could not recommend this trip and company enough. All of the accommodations were nice and Asian Heritage was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. All of our guides were knowledgeable and did their jobs well. Nepal is an amazing country and I highly recommend planning your adventure with Asian Heritage Treks & Travels. Asian Heritage Treks & Travels is an amazing company to work with. Not only did they plan and organize a fantastic trip but they welcomed us and made us feel at home in Nepal. Nilam and the team are incredibly kind people that helped us with anything and everything. They accommodated every need we had. During our trek, we were guided by Mr. Shiva and he is great! Every staff member we met was very pleasant and of course, our tour was wonderful. This company also works to help poor and marginalized communities throughout the country which is amazing! I am so thankful we booked our trip with Asian Heritage.
