Our time in Istanbul was made truly exceptional by the impeccable guidance of Mrs. Saadet, booked thru Magnaura Palace Hotel. From the very first moment, her gracious presence, warmth, and quiet confidence set the tone for an experience that felt both deeply personal and effortlessly refined. Mrs. Sadeet possesses an extraordinary depth of knowledge, which she shares with such elegance and clarity that every landmark, every street, and every hidden gem felt alive with meaning. Her storytelling transformed the city into a living tapestry of history, culture, and timeless beauty. What distinguished her most was her intuitive understanding of how to craft a seamless and elevated journey. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, allowing us to simply immerse ourselves in the charm of Istanbul without a single concern. Exploring the city with her felt less like a tour, and more like being welcomed into its soul—guided by someone who genuinely cares about creating something unforgettable. Mrs. Saadet is, without question, a true professional of the highest calibre. Aydın is an exceptional guide and a wonderful person to discover Istanbul with. His passion for history and the city itself is obvious from the very first moment. Every monument, street, and story felt connected in a way that made the city much easier to appreciate and understand. We visited the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, and many other historic sites, and each place felt unique because of the context and stories he shared. The tour never felt rushed, and everything was arranged very professionally. If you want more than just photos and want to experience the real spirit of Istanbul, Aydın is the perfect guide.

Aidyn was our guide and he was prompt, kind, professional and a wealth of knowledge for our first visit to Istanbul. We highly recommend him for a 7 hour tour to see the many sites. We had time for a nice traditional Turkish lunch (not included in the price). The admission fees are not included either, but were well worth the extra money to see.

What stood out most was how he took us beyond the typical tourist routes, showing hidden places like the underground cistern, which was peaceful, uncrowded, and felt like a secret side of Istanbul many visitors never see. He also introduced us to authentic local craft and cultural spots, giving a deeper understanding of Turkish traditions in a very natural and respectful way. Throughout the tour, Aydın was professional, friendly, and very attentive. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and how visitors experience the city. A truly memorable guide who makes Istanbul feel alive.

Aydın is truly a gem and a walking history book. Despite being so young, his deep knowledge and passion for history are impressive and clearly reflected in the way he brings every place to life with stories and meaning. He didn’t just show us the famous sights — he took us beyond the usual tourist paths, including hidden spots like local rugs and jewelry shops and the less-known, peaceful underground cistern, which was not crowded and felt like a secret treasure of Istanbul. What made the experience even more special was how he introduced us to Turkish culture in such a warm, professional, and engaging way. From start to finish, everything was handled with expertise, care, and genuine enthusiasm. Aydın truly knows what he is doing and how to connect people with the history and soul of the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour with Aydin, who was a walking, talking encyclopedia on the history of Istanbul. We learned so much that we would never have otherwise known. We visited the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Underground Cisterns. Aydin was prepared to also take us to the Grand Bizarre and the Topkopi Palace, but having just arrived in Turkey, the jet lag on our part, prevented us from doing more walking. The crowds to get into both Mosques were quite large, but Aydin knew all the tricks for getting us in quickly, which was very appreciated. Aydin himself is very personable and friendly and speaks outstanding English so we no difficulty understanding him. The only suggestion i would make is given the length of time spent at each sight, it would be best to skip the rug store visit. While very interesting, that's time we could have spent in one of the two sights that we had to forfeit for our reasons, not his. I would suggest taking the 9:00 tour. We booked the 10:00 tour not understanding how much time we would need. It's definitely an all day event. All in all, I highly recommend booking this tour to get the full history of this beautiful city. Thank you, Aydin, for a wonderful day!
