We were treated like family and felt very safe and comfortable with Valentin, Kenny, and Simon on our extended tour of the Sacred Valley, Machu Pichu, and Cuzco. We appreciated their extensive history and cultural knowledge, friendliness, kindness and humor during our stay. Some of my most memorable travel experiences were in Peru and would not have been possible without their expert guidance. Highly recommend!

I honestly can't say enough good things about our time with Valetin, Simon and Kenny in Peru. Valentin welcomed us like family and was so proud to show us his beautiful country everyday. We hiked mountains, went to weaving cooperatives, saw Machupicchu and ate the most delicious meal at his family farm. I have traveled all over the world and Valentin's service is second to none. I am honestly counting the days until I can go back and see he and his family again!

Such a lovely tour with Valentin! He’s the kind of guy you’d want to have a beer with and that makes a big difference. He knows his stuff too! Really a great vibe the whole day. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Wonderful private tour with Valentin's Pachamama Lunch. All was coordinated seamlessly as we were picked up at our hotel in Cusco, taken to Chinchero weaving collaborative, Pisac Ruins, the Salt Mines, Ollantaytambo, and provided a gourmet lunch on Valentin's family farm. We asked to customize our tour with a Chica making experience as well, and we had a wonderful time visiting the family's guinea pigs, helping to start a chicha batch, drinking the chica together, and learning about traditional agriculture in the region. My parents also loved the tour and said it was the most down-to-earth and authentic tour experience they had ever had. Really wonderful way to see the region's tourist highlights and also learn how the locals live.

Valentín and his family hosted us for 5 days, including a 2-day Inca Trail experience and the ruins and markets and farms of the sacred valley. They were awesome. Spoke perfect English and were very prompt and helpful, friendly and fun to be with. They showed us their hometown and gave us the local perspective of their history, their cooking methods, the markets, and helped us hike some amazing trails to once in a lifetime destinations.

Valentin and his team were excellent to work with from start to finish. I was having trouble hearing back from other companies when planning my family's trip to Peru, but Valentin's company was different. I visited their website and reached out to the team with some questions after I read all the great reviews on TripAdvisor. Lydia responded quickly and could answer all my questions and provide guidance on how to best plan my family's itinerary. Response times were always prompt and helpful. We did the Lake Humantay, Rainbow Mountain, and Sacred Valley with Gourmet Lunch tours. Each of them was phenomenal. Time after time, everything was taken care of for us. Valentin was flexible and able to adjust to what we needed, such as picking us up from our hotel in the Sacred Valley and dropping us off at our new hotel in Cusco after we had hiked Rainbow Mountain. Spending so much time with Valentin, Kenny, and Roger was so wonderful. We learned so much on our tours not only about the sites we were seeing, but also what life is like living in Peru. The Private Ollantaytambo, Pisac Ruins Tour with Farm Visit and Gourmet Picnic Lunch tour is a must-do. Valentin is so knowledgeable on the area and you can tell he is proud of where he comes from, and rightfully so. The food prepared by Roger was phenomenal. Everything tasted so fresh, and you could tell how much time and attention went into preparing the food. The view over the local farm was also gorgeous. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I would not have booked through them without the reviews I saw that expressed the same opinion. Our trip would have been wildly different if we had gone with a different company, and I am so glad we went with Valentin's Pachamama Journeys.

Valentin is very, very knowledgable about Peru. It was so great having a guide who grew up in the Sacred Valley and knows the locals. It was so informative to learn about the day-to-day life of the Andean villages (e.g. diet, weather, economy, agriculture). If you want an in-depth and thorough understanding of this wonderful region of Peru, this is a great tour to take.

Valentin’s Pachamama Journeys should be the only tour group you’re considering. valentin and his team made our visit to Peru incredible!!! They took care kf every detail and everything felt so personalized and stress free . Valentin was so proud to share his wonderful country with us and it showed every day. We did Lake Humantay, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, and Rainbow Mountain and the Pisac ruins.. My girlfriend and I’s bags were lost so we couldn’t hike the trail, but Valentin made sure we had everything we needed and helped us fill the time lost with some other great excursions to make up for the trail. I can’t imagine having any other tour group taking care of us the way they did. Amazing amazing amazing. Having a local who knew all the ins and outs of the area that also took the most care to make sure we enjoyed ourselves made the entire trip.
