ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE TRIP: We choose 1 of 2 Techniques, depending on conditions & wish 1) Trolling for big pelagics: We troll on the surface in search of large pelagic fish (Tuna, Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, Skipjack tuna, Wahoo, Bonito, etc.), either in schools or roaming alone in the open ocean. We look for signs of activity—drifting logs, birds, and anything that indicates their presence. It’s a wide-area hunt where the fish are constantly on the move. 2) Traditional local method (handline + buoy): We drop bait at depths of 100–300 m on drifting buoys and hauling the catch up by hand! If We catch, we share the pelagic fish with you (bring a bag)! Please ensure before booking that you are comfortable with the following conditions: limited comfort on board, with potentially bumpy and wet rides due to the often windy ocean conditions in this area, possible seasickness, and the fact that fishing never guarantees a catch.
