What To Expect
Your friendly private driver picks you up from Shanghai city center and transferred you to one of the following water villages of China based on your booking preference: • Zhujiajiao: with a history of more than 1,700 years and there are many sights of historic interest, such as Fangsheng Bridge, Kezhi Garden and the Yuanjin Buddhist Temple • Zhouzhuang: one of the most famous water townships in China • Tongli: with a history of more than 1,000 years • Nanxun: located in Huzhou, with a history of over 1,400 years, the town came to prominence during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1279) due to its prospering silk industry • Xitang: charming water town famous for Movie Mission Impossible 3 • Wuzhen: boasts more than 1,300 years of history and has always been a fertile land with abundant rice, fish and silk This comfortable transfer service is good for the travelers to enjoy an independent and the car service usage is flexible up to 8 hours and based on your preferred schedule. After your independent tour is finished, your driver will come to pick you up again and transfer you back to Shanghai city. Please note that your driver can't speak English, but he/she knows exactly where to take you to go. 5.00Great day trip to Tongli water town. Driver Liu easy to find and got us to our destination quickly in comfort. Great to have just us in the car. Easy to communicate with Alana via WhatsApp and Liu with translate app. Great communication to confirm tour the day prior. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Fast and easy transfer with a private car and driver. We went to Xitang Water Town and it was pretty magical. It was nice to get an afternoon-evening time slot, as we got to see the beautiful town during the day and night. The driver got us there fast, dropped us off at the entrance, and then picked us up when we were ready to go. Highly recommend this as a day trip from Shanghai.

4.00Nothing fancy about this transfer from Shanghai to Nanxun Water Town: driver spoke no English at all: would have been nice to interact. TIP: forget the other touristy water towns: Nanxun was terrific! Lots of Chinese & few if any tourists: easy to get around & interact with locals. TIP 2: if you are venturing outside Shanghai you need 4/5G reception: our carrier was 3G in the ‘country’ area: impossible to contact our driver via WeChat to return home. We found a wonderful lady in the Office at the front gate who understood enough English to connect us to their network to save our day. TIP 3: allow at least 2 hrs to return to Shanghai as the traffic is horrendous. Loved our day out. We rate this a 8+

If you want to go not far from Shanghai and change scenery, the watertowns of Zhouzhuang and Zhujiajiao are places not to be missed!

Cheng the driver was so nice and accommodating, and punctual. Their service was 100% and I would highly recommend them if you need to get to the watertown comfortably!
