  This tour was so much fun. We arrived a couple minutes late, and the captain made sure we got on the boat. The captain was very friendly and made everyone feel welcome. He shared a lot of info on lake Saimaa and on Finland in general. We were entertained with an accordion performance and served pulla and coffee on the lake. An altogether lovely experience.

  I booked the eco-boat tour with Arto online in advance and was the only participant. In Germany the tour would have been cancelled for cost or efficiency reasons, I got an exclusive tour with Arto instead. The tour was wonderful, Arto shared endless information about Finland, played the accordion and provided me with coffee & pastries. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended, as well as his kayak rental, which I also tested. Thank you very much Arto, I will remember the tour best.

  The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us entertained and engaged. We saw a couple of seals and he was patient and waited a few minutes after each one in case they popped up again.

  Best Saimaa lake tour - we booked the tour with Argo as a family with a 7 year old daughter. Our guide was really knowledgeable and also knew how to entertain kids during this 3-hour trip. Our daughter was for example allowed to drive the boat :-). Also because she only speaks German, Arto did most of the tour in excellent German! The coffee break was really Yummie with homemade Finnish pastries (and I think I don’t need to mention the stunning nature)… 100% recommended!

  Our Saimaa Story Cruise with Ecoboat in Puumala was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Finland.   Comfortable Saimaase tour in perfect weather! Arto told us a lot about Lake Saimaa and Finland in German and provided precise answers to all our questions. We saw two white-tailed eagle nests with young birds.

  The tour is highly recommended. We learned a lot of interesting things about Finland and Lake Saimaa. Arto is an exceptionally good and friendly guide. We were lucky enough to see Ospreys and a baby seal. A round of coffee with musical accompaniment completed the tour.

  Yesterday we went with Arto Keinanen and the Eco Boat and enjoyed the evening with a relaxed ambience, interesting facts about the ringed seals and a man who could represent Finland perfectly. This tour is suitable for all ages as Arto knows how to speak 5 languages. He provides key information in English in an exciting way. The tour also includes an observation of white-tailed eagles, which make the tour recommended despite the lack of seals. Introduction round as well as tea and coffee breaks also invite you to dive into the fascinating world of animals. Super evening with start and end in Puumala

  Thank you for this wonderful evening. With a lot of passion Arto reports about Lake Saima and the ringed seals (in German, English, Finnish, French and Italian!). Unfortunately we could not see seals, but it was still a very nice tour, so we could experience the area from the water (in the super quiet ecoboat). Thank you very much! 😊
