Gur Emir Mausoleum

Timur’s tomb was built in 1404 and is famous for its impressive and ornate appearance, reflecting the grandeur of Timur's empire. Our tour in Samarkand was outstanding! We were picked up from the train station in a very comfortable car, which made the start of the day smooth and pleasant. Our guide Akmal was excellent — professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and shared many fascinating stories about the city. The whole tour was perfectly organized and very comfortable. We visited all the main sights at a relaxed pace, enjoyed every stop, and learned so much along the way. In the evening, we were driven back to the train station, which was extremely convenient. We truly had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Samarkand!

We had a wonderful day with Amin, our tour guide in Samarkand. He is charismatic, highly knowledgable, super helpful and to our surprise really good at singing:) We had an impromptu carpool karaoke on the way to the station and truly enjoyed it. Recommend!
