  We had an amazing experience in Santorini with our guide Giannis. He listened to what we wanted to see and made sure to get in as much as possible at each location. He was very knowledgeable sharing all of the wonderful things he loves about his home.

  We recently did a 7-hour private tour with Santorini Road Trips and had the pleasure of being guided by Giannis. Despite Santorini being packed with four cruise ships in port that day, and our tender boat causing a significant delay (nearly two hours!), Giannis patiently waited for us and this is something we deeply appreciated and didn’t take for granted. From the moment we met him, Giannis impressed us with his warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the island. No surprise, as he’s a local himself. One of the most memorable parts of our tour was when he brought us to his parents’ village and gave us a glimpse into traditional Santorinian life. It was personal, heartfelt, and added a beautiful layer to our experience. Giannis made sure we saw the island’s highlights, from breathtaking viewpoints to charming villages. At every stop, he happily took photos of my husband and me, making sure we captured the memories. He was personable, humble, and clearly passionate about his home. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a meaningful experience for his guests. We wholeheartedly recommend Giannis and Santorini Road Trips to anyone visiting the island. Even when things were out of our control (like the delayed tender boat), Giannis adapted with grace and professionalism. This was more than just a tour, it was a truly special experience that we’ll always remember! Thank you Giannis!

  Fantastic tour of the beautiful island of Santorini. Our driver and guide George is a local and expert on all the island has to offer. As a private tour he will review all the hotspots before the tour begins and you tell him where you want to go, and for how long you wish to stay. We already had a few places in mind and he recommended a couple of others. We began our tour at 3:30 PM, as we wanted to end in OIA around sunset. We wanted to visit the black beach and spent a few moments there to Wade in the crystal clear water of the Agean sea. We also wanted to visit the Santo winery where we spent about 45 minutes sampling wines. We then asked George to take us to some of his favorites and some classic photo spots. We booked the tour for five hours, at a little over $400 for 3 people. I thought the cost a little pricey, but in the end it was well worth the money. Our cruise disembarked at 9:30 PM and George had us back to the cable car station at 8:30, with plenty of time left to tender back to our ship.

  George was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We were able to see all we wanted to see in Santorini in a day. It was fun, worry-free, and we were able to take great pictures!
