What To Expect

We’ve chosen a prime section of the Snake River for your float trips, launching at Deadman’s Bar, below the scenic Snake River Overlook. During your two-hour float trip, you’ll travel down a smooth braided stretch of the river that flows through both forested and open areas in Grand Teton National Park. You’ll see the majestic peaks of the Teton Range and the lucky few may catch of glimpse of a moose, an elk, or an elusive river otter. Unlike a whitewater rafting expedition, a scenic float trip goes at a slower pace, so it’s perfect for unwinding, relaxing, and reconnecting with your family or group. Your guides are consummate professionals who come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all share a passion for conservation, a deep love of nature, and knowledge about the Snake River, Jackson Hole, and Grand Teton National Park. One of the best experiences my family has had on vacation. The promptness of Jennifer’s communication & booking changes was top notch. Our guide Bernie was so nice & personable. He really went out of his way to make this trip special. Can’t recommend this company & trip more. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ all the way around!

Great time! Beautiful blue sky day! (Did they order that up too?) Tetons from the Snake River is a once in a life time great adventure and our guide was very good in covering the history and stories associated with them! My only complaint is being a little hard of hearing I did not get most of it! Maybe they should consider the use of a microphone? He was also very good on orientation for the ride including in the event one was to fall in! If in the Teton area, you definitely should do this “adventure!” - you will love it - try to get them to order that perfect blue sky day!
