Your time in Dublin is brief, let's make the most of it!
Experience the magic of Dublin City on this whiskey and beer adventure. We will meet you off your ship, you'll board our executive transportation and we depart for the city. Your Whiskey Specialist Host will keep you entertained en route to the Guinness neighbourhood. Most people visit Guinness Storehouse on a self-guided ticket. With us, you'll enjoy a guided tour of the attraction and a pint of 'the black stuff'. Afterwards, you will enjoy a private bespoke tour with whiskey tastings at Pearse Lyons Distillery. As Irish whiskey reclaims it’s place in the spirits world, you'll get a glimpse at this booming industry first hand! Later, we'll take you into the center of town for some free time to explore the city of Dublin. We'll of course guide you on where to have lunch and what to visit. Finally, we will return you to the harbour, ensuring you're back on board your ship in good time.

5.00John collected our family of 4 off our ship at a port in the suburbs of Dublin and we boarded a very sleek Mercedes mini-van. As we made our way to the city , he gave us a bite-sized history lesson of Ireland, perfectly fitting our brief time in the country. We had wonderful pit stops for whiskey and beer and he expertly showed around his city, making sure we saw what we should see with only a few hours in Dublin!!

5.00We had a wonderful time in Ireland! Went to 15 distilleries from Dublin to Cork and up to Belfast. A great mix of small and large distilleries. John is very knowledgeable, interesting, friendly, and patient. He saw to it that we were enjoying ourselves, well fed, and educated in what goes into distilling. We were sad to have our tour end.

5.00We had such a good time with John touring 3 distilleries in Dublin! I wanted an introduction to Irish whiskey and to get a better idea of what I like in a whiskey, and this tour delivered! We also learned a lot about Ireland's and Dublin's history. John was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and punctual. He answered all of our questions, and was just fun to hang out with for an afternoon. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in whiskey who is visiting Dublin.

5.00My husband and I went on the three day “Ireland’s Ancient East Whiskey Tour” and it was fantastic!! Every aspect of our itinerary was flawlessly planned and executed by John, our extremely knowledgeable, well-connected, and accommodating host. We ended our trip to Ireland with the whiskey tour and it was our favorite part by far. The tour included private tours of 6 distilleries (incl. two smaller distilleries where we had the opportunity to tour with the owners!), fantastic accommodations at 5 star hotels, and great stops along the way — all via a luxury private car. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in a unique and special experience throughout Ireland. Thank you to Whiskey Island and John for such an amazing tour. P.s. you don’t have to be super knowledgeable about whiskey to enjoy this. I’m not and had an amazing time!!
