Five Great Avenues

Then, you will take an air-conditioned and comfort private vehicle to (about 1 hour driving time from Tianjin Port to downtown Tianjin) Head to your first stop of the day, Five Great Avenues. It is called the World Building Exhibition, which dates back to the late Qing Dynasty,about 100 years ago. There are over 230 buildings of all kinds from the architecture of Britain, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain.

It covers most of the interesting places in Tianjin. It's a very comfortable and hassle-free way to get the pulse of the city and of the people. Our guide Yan (might have spelled the name wrongly) was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, was friendly and went the extra mile for us. Our lady driver had excellent driving skills and proved them in the mad traffic of the city. All in all a great experience due to our guide!

I must say Kelly is a very dedicated, polite and caring experience guide. Not only she knows the background history of the place, but also handles the challenging situation well. I have a great regards to her. The driver is very professional and she knows the route well. The only drawback is the lunch. We were cramped in a very small area. The quality of food was bad. I guess it cost less than 10 RMB/person! Apart from that the overall journey was good and memorable!
