If you´re looking for the best way to travel from Antigua to Lake Atitlan or, vice-versa, this is an excellent choice.
These two beautiful locations are 2 1/2 hours apart. To make your trip comfortable and pleasant, all our minivans are equipped with A/C and reclinable seats. They are recent models with insurance for passengers and our drivers are friendly and well experienced.
With our private one-way shuttle service, you can book our minivans exclusively for your family or group of friends. To make your time on the road less exhausted, the driver can do 1 or 2 stops along the road. There are good restaurants with small handicraft exhibits, and it might be a good idea to stop for some minutes, stretch legs, buy good cup-of-coffee, use facilities or shop for local products.
This is a great option if you want to book a safe, comfortable and reliable transport.

What To Expect
Our private one-way shuttles are door-to-door service. Please make sure to submit your pick up and drop off locations correctly. Either if you're in Antigua and heading to Lake Atitlan or the other way around, this is an excellent option to travel by land comfortably and safely, NOT sharing your vehicle with strangers. Our transports start operating from 2 passengers. You can book them at any time of the day from 4 am to 6 pm. The approximate time on the road oscillates from 2:30 to 3:30hrs. All our drivers are kind and friendly, they will stop in the appropriate places to make your travel less exhausted.

3.00Marvin is a great person, however the route from Atitlan to Antigua has many curves and we had to tell him to drive slower and more cautiously because he was going so fast. To the point where the tires squealed on a bend and he evidently looked scared. Besides, this time we got a little bus instead of a car, it wasn't comfortable.

5.00Mario was awesome. Didn't speak English but easy going and tried his best to point out points of interest. Pick up was On time, drove safely on this winding often narrow road. No concerns at all. Lots of flexibility with change in time of pick up. Ie moved from same day scheduled 12 noon to 10am. Excellent communication w Byron (company owner?) on WhatsApp. Def will use again.

3.00We had Osman for both of our transportation to and from Atitlan. The van is spacious and has great AC. Though Osman was always on time, his driving left much to be desired. The road to Lake Atitlan is very winding and Osman drove very fast, passing cars and bikes on blind corners and roads. He did stop us at a great restaurant on the way. I would recommend the service (as they were very responsive on WhatsApp with any changes) but I would likely ask for another driver in the future.

5.00I highly recommend booking this drive. The tour company that offers the ride is called GT Business and Travel (GT Negocios Y Viajes) and it's a great small business for any travel and tour needs around Antigua, Guatemala. They provide outstanding customer service and are super friendly and helpful. We rode with them from Antigua to Panajachel (Lake Atitlan) and also from Panajachel to the airport in Guatemala City. Marlon was our driver both days and we had great conversation, learned about Guatemala and the towns we drove through, and stopped for great photo opportunities, food, and coffee. The cars were very clean and comfortable. Also, the timing was perfect - they know the best routes and ways to avoid potential delays. If you want a private drive with a friendly and knowledgeable driver, I recommend booking with GT!
