A wonderful way to learn about the history and culture of the island with your local driver-guide. This is a private tour for your guest and their family and friends, a full-day experience with sightseeing, a beach, and an afternoon of duty-free shopping. Guest can also design their own tour.
Tour starts with-free pickup from your hotel or cruise port, and then you travel up winding roads to Mountain Top. This attraction sits 1,547 feet above sea level, the highest point on the island. Take in the marvelous sights, and learn about the legendary origin of the banana daiquiri (drink is not included in the price of the tour). The next stops are Drake's Seat and Skyline Lookout.
The is Magens Bay Beach (entrance fee is not included in the price of the tour) Our last stop is downtown Charlotte Amalie to visit the unique shops and cute boutiques for duty-free shopping. Before heading back to your hotel, you can do a self-guided tour of historic sites Emancipation Park, and Synagogue Hill.

Fun family tour of St. Thomas!

5.00We had a fun time on this excursion! Since we had beach, boat, and snorkeling tours on other islands during our cruise, we opted for something on land this time :) Our tour guide, Carol, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was waiting exactly where she said she'd be when we disembarked. It was nice to get into an air conditioned van as it was hot! She told us a lot of the history of the island, including her own background. The hills are crazy driving up the mountain but the scenery and views are amazing. We stopped at several spots for family pictures. There was still a lot of damage from the 2017 hurricanes where people couldn't rebuild, or started to but stopped. She took us to Blackbeard's Castle which we couldn't tour but she parked and walked us around the outside of it. We had a yummy banana daquiri overlooking beautiful Magen's Bay. The line for daquiri's was pretty long and then we wanted to walk around the shop so she gave us plenty of time. I bought a really pretty ring with a teal stone from the shop and my daughter got one too; something to wear and remember St Thomas by. Carol then drove us back down and took us to the shops not far from the port and we strolled around for a bit but we didn't stay long since we were all getting hungry and thirsty. I'd definitely recommend this tour and Carol as your guide!
