This particular tour used to be a personal activity between my sibling and I. We wanted to explore our hometown area using a more eco-friendly water gear and opted to purchase stand up paddle boards. We noticed that there were others on the island interested in experiencing the water in this way which gave us the idea to expand into a water sport business.
What I love the most about this stand up paddle activity is that it was not only a light exercise activity on the water, it also had an element of touring the island covering various scenic locations such as the mangrove river and the 500 million year limestone formation. This activity is one of the best way to work for an experience to view the beauty of Tanjung Rhu Langkawi, and operated by experience and passionate local guides who know the area.

What To Expect
Explore the natural Langkawi elements by discovering little caves that accessible by water, old limestone formations from the Palaeozoic Era, mangrove forest and river, and end with a swim along a man-made private island on a full 3-hour escape. You will learn about the history of each location and why we respect the beauty of the natural geology and fauna that make up the beautiful island of Langkawi. The trip will begin and end on a floating stage where guests are able to enjoy food and beverage in the restaurant to cool down with fresh seafood or a simple traditional dish, everything at a reasonable price. Did we mention it’s a floating stage with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape?

4.00Haris indeed is a good guide and knowledgeable! Board and all other equipments are new! Comfortable facilities provided to clean up after the paddle activities. But price wise for two hours activities just to paddle in a circle, is quite expensive. Nothing much to explore and quite limited option for a solo.

5.00It was a lovely experience and a fun way to experience the geopark in Langkawi. We had never done paddleboarding before and so were feeling a little unsure at first, but our guide, Haris, was very professional and did a great job of teaching us everything we needed to know, while also putting us at ease. He explained what we’d be doing step by step, and taught us some things about local wildlife too. The only thing I wish I would have done differently was wear a long sleeve water shirt because the sun was still really strong, even at 4 pm, and me and my husband got a little sunburned. But other than that it was a great experience overall, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try out paddleboarding in Langkawi!

5.00Very worth visiting attraction. Guide Haris is very friendly and always looking after your safety. Brought us to a private island for island hopping and stand up paddling, where there is still less crowded, and we enjoyed our own precious experience.
