After departing from Reykjavik, the full-day tour's guides will take you to areas that were the most affected by the 2010 eruption of the now dormant Eyjafjallajökull volcano. You will see the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, behind which a path allows you to walk, followed by the mighty Skógafoss waterfall; walk and drive on black sand beaches pounded by the Atlantic surf and see the bird cliffs that surround the quaint coastal village of Vík, which is teeming with life in spring and summer. On the way home, drive past the greenhouse town of Hveragerði, a place named after the area's abundant geothermal activity, which allows the locals to grow all kinds of plants and produce greenhouses. The sights on the Iceland south shore tour are impressive, and exploring them in a Superjeep makes the experience even more memorable. South Coast & Eyjafjallajökull tour highlights: • Black sand beaches • Bird cliffs • Skógafoss & Seljalandsfoss waterfalls • Eyjafjallajökull sights • Urriðafoss waterfall • Small coastal villagesThe tour lasts 10 hours. Free hotel pick-up and drop-off is included.

I was glad we traveled with Superjeep and a small group so that we could move swiftly between sights and beat the crowds.

Having had a positive experience with Superjeep.is on a Northern Lights trip, you’d think it couldn’t get any better - and then it did, thanks to the fantastic Guide, Raggi! The tour was varied and interesting, made all the more so by Raggi’s excellent information and guidance together with his enthusiastic sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble for Raggi and we all had a fantastic time and laughed - a lot! That said, we saw the most incredible landscape - a complete comparison to everything else we saw in Iceland and nature at its best and most breath-taking. Huge thanks to the wonderful Raggi and Superjeeps - we will recommend both heartily to all our friends and family!

We booked this tour whilst in Iceland after doing the northern lights tour with them on our first night. We were really impressed with the service, really friendly drivers, experienced in driving in shocking weather conditions, they made it fun & were more than happy to go out of their way. Thanks Arni for a wonderful day. Jo & Paul - 10 Feb 18

Thank you Sio and SuperJeep.is for an incredible day! Our trip to Eyjafjallajokull and the South Coast was by far the best tour we have taken during our week stay. Sio’s expert knowledge of the sites and the terrain coupled with his magnificent timing allowed us to explore this beautiful part of Iceland in a unique and unforgettable way. What a perfect way to start 2018.😊🇮🇸 Sunrise atop a glacier-covered volcano...sunset on a black sand beach.

The whole experience was simply awesome. The magical scenary and sights were breathtaking. The whole experience was 8-9 hours and it simply flew by. This tour is not the usual tourist visit - in fact we hardly saw anyone else all day. It took in secluded waterfalls after some hiking, traversing small rivers on foot and some climbing to see some of the beautiful sights. The off road drive through rivers and gulleys were fun along with some local knowledge and information from our fantastic tour guide Ingvald made it a special day. Some reasonable level of fitness and good balance is needed to get to some of the sites. Finished off the day at the Skagafoss waterfalls. Be prepared and wear the right clothing and boots....it was v wet and windy on our visit. Highly recommended. If I ever go back to Iceland (I hope I do) another of these trips will be on the list.
