Having a bird's-eye view of Salzburg city!
Only a few steps to take off and you will glide with an experienced pilot over the inspiring landscape of Salzburg. With the city center, flatland to the north, forests underneath you, stunning mountains and rock faces around - this will be an unforgettable experience. "Sound of Music" fans will see some spots from the movie while we fly.
Usually we meet directly on the top of the Gaisberg. You can go there by car, or by bus for free from Salzburg city center.
The tandem paragliding flight lasts up to 20 minutes and can be carried out in any season. Our flight leads from the top of the mountain down to the landing site. In between you can enjoy the wonderful view.
Plan for the whole adventure about 1,5 hour. With transport from city center and back about 2 to max 2,5 hours. Just bring non-slip sports shoes, weather-resistant warm clothing and gloves for winter flights.
Photos and videos can be purchased on site for an extra 29 euros.

5.00This tandem paragliding was a really positive experience for my first time flying! I got to fly with Fabian and he was very kind and welcoming and spoke perfect English. I felt very at ease and everything was explained to me well. We got to see lakes to one side and the city of Salzburg on the other. Would highly recommend 👌

5.00Was an indescribable and beautiful experience , the weather & thermals were completely on our side 🤗 & with my cool flight instructor/pilot Florian in our luggage we made the air over the city of Salzburg unsafe 🤗 Many thanks again to Florian at this point for the great experiences and the nice sightseeing tour over the local mountain Salzburg 🤗

5.00My pilot was the best 🤩 Very relaxed and funny he instructed me in everything very professionally before our flight. You can enjoy everything wonderfully and I was & am very overwhelmed. You feel that you are alive and free A great experience in the air at the positive mercy of the laws of nature. The environment was wonderfully explained and there was much laughter and admiration. You were allowed to play pilot for a short time - wonderful 💙👍🏻 This will definitely be repeated. Beware "addiction danger" With JoJo you have the best pilot 6 * plus 🤩 Thanks for everything 🪂❤️

5.00We selected the hang gliding over Königsee and the Berchtesgaden National Park. The ride was fantastic in every respect. Wolfgang and Tony were the conscientious and terrific pilots who put us at ease and helped us to enjoy every second. May be the most fun and exciting experience of our travels. Strongly recommend this outing and this company!

5.00I took my second tandem flight with flytandem on August 10th after my first experience was so great. Actually I had a ticket for the day before, but because it was too windy I was issued a new ticket for the following day, which was quite straightforward. Also on August 10th it was very windy, my "pilot" didn't want to take any chances and take off, especially after watching others how the take-off had not worked out or how difficult it was; very responsible in my opinion! Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time, for which neither the pilots nor the agency can do anything; the next day we were due to depart, which is why a new transfer was out of the question. In the late afternoon the weather became calmer and the wait was more than worth it! Instead of my booked 10 minutes, the pilot said we could make the most of our flight now, and we stayed in the air much longer at no extra charge because I had to wait so long (which as I said nobody can do) and no other appointments followed. In summary: Super fair and competent staff and once again a great experience!!
