  It went perfectly from start to finish. Sahil is incredibly knowledgeable, sharing a wide range of fascinating facts about Mauritius throughout the tour. He’s also kind, respectful, and extremely professional which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The car was spotless (despite me unintentionally bringing some sand in after a beach stop - which I apologise for!), very comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning. Sahil is also a cautious and safe driver. Highly recommended - 5 stars!

  We booked this trip because we wanted to explore the highlights of the North of the island. We saw everything we wanted to see and more! The trip is great value for money and having your own driver means if you take longer or shorter at a location that’s fine! Our driver was Kevin who was brilliant. He was very friendly and helpful. He knew a lot about the island and all the destinations and answered all our questions. The trip length is perfect if you should want to be out for the day but not consume the whole day needing to wake up early and get back late. We were able to enjoy an easy morning, do the trip and then still have some time in the afternoon to relax at our hotel. It was exactly what we wanted in the excursion .   Overall, this tour has the potential to be a great experience, but it really depends on the driver you get. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t the friendliest, which affected the day. I’d recommend having lunch in Port Louis instead of the seafood restaurant they typically take tourists to, the price isn’t worth the quality of the food. Also, some of the stops felt quite rushed, and I think they would have been much more enjoyable with a bit more time. You could probably skip Grand Baie public beach, as it’s quite crowded with parked yachts. Instead, spend more time in Pereybere, walking along the beach there is much more relaxing and enjoyable. Cap Malheureux was a highlight and absolutely beautiful. It would be great if there were an option to swim there. I also noticed that we didn’t visit the public market as advertised, which was a bit disappointing. That said, this tour could be an amazing experience overall, you just need to be lucky with the driver.

  Lovely trip around the north stopping at a handful of stunning beaches with the clearest water! Our driver Sahil was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on talking about key parts of the island, culture and economy as we drove around. Good little tour at the rum place and the botanical gardens were pretty. Great value too as we had wanted to just get a cab to and from Port Louis which was 2/3 of the cost of this who trip!

  Chucky is the best taxi on the island! he is a trusted person, smiling, punctual, accommodating. we had a great time, filled with laughter, discoveries and exciting explanations. we feel the love of his job and his involvement with the people who climb into his car. he adapts to each person to satisfy everyone as much as possible. we leave with wonderful memories and see you soon, I hope 🥰

  We had an amazing North Tour and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure the entire experience was tailored to our needs. From start to finish, everything felt very comfortable and well organized. What really stood out was his deep local insider knowledge. He didn’t just show us the typical tourist spots, but helped us truly understand and appreciate the north of the island in a much more authentic way.
