Empieza con transporte redondo desde Guadalajara con bebidas a bordo (Agua, cerveza, electrolits). Nuestra primer parada es Cascahuín, una destilería con más de 100 años de tradición donde aprenderas el proceso de elaboracion del tequila y disfrutarás una cata guiada de 6 tequilas premium. Luego visitamos una segunda destilería familiar en Amatitán, ideal para comparar métodos de producción y seguir degustando más etiquetas. Después vamos a comer en una antigua hacienda bellisima con más de 150 años de antiguedad (Comida, bebida, propina no incluida) . También tendremos tiempo de explorar el centro del Pueblo Mágico de Tequila y sus atracciones. Cerramos en los famosos Cantaritos El Güero (bebidas no incluidas) antes de regresar a Guadalajara.

What To Expect

Tequila Cascahuin

We will tour a family-owned distillery that has been in operation since 1954 and is currently run by the fourth generation. We will gain insight into the entire process of tequila production, from planting the seeds to bottling the final product and will have the opportunity to sample their premium tequilas.

Amatitan

We will also visit a second, family-owned distillery that produces tequila using traditional methods. There, we will have the opportunity to compare and contrast the methods used at the first distillery, and you'll get to taste a selection of their unique, boutique tequilas.

I liked that the private tour gave options about which artisanal distilleries I could visit. My guide, Jessie, spoke good English and was knowledgeable about tequila and its history. I recommend going to Forteleza to taste tequila made the old way, using a tohono to crush the agave. Different flavors come out and you get to taste them in a cave! And you can get fish tacos afterward on the beautiful Sauza property below the volcano, so I skipped the restaurant included in the tour because I was with a fun group. Jessie was flexible and then we went to Cascuin distillery where he had worked so he led the tour and tasting there. I recommend this tour if you want artisanal tequila.

Had an amazing trip from beginning to end. Jessie was a great tour guide who is very knowledgeable about tequila and all other agave spirits. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely use him next time we travel to guadalajara.

This trip was amazing. I really enjoyed the personalized experience. There were four of us that traveled from the US and our first time in Guadalajara and Tequila. Our Driver and your guide was Jessie. His English was flawless. He’s a knowledgeable and safe driver. H stooped for us along the way as we needed. Thank you Jessie Orozco for a great adventure.

It was an amazing experience and he made the tour so much fun and it was 17 wild girls on a bachelorette party so he also had patience. His english was perfect we spoke spaneligh so it was helpful for him tu understand us .

Both distilleries were awesome. Edgar was an excellent host. He spoke perfect English and Spanish and was very flexible to our needs. Lunch was great and the town of Tequila was a nice was to wrap up the day.

Our guide Jesse spoke excellent English and made the tour both fun and informative. We were able to see the family owned distillery in full swing from loading the piñas into the ovens, tasting the cooked agave and watching the small batch distillation. Tasting was done in a lovely garden setting. We had lunch in the town of Tequila, including a colorful plaza and an indigenous dance performance.

Can’t say enough good things about this trip. My wife and I booked with Jessie last Thursday and had such a great time, we brought back friends on Sunday for a slightly different tour. Over the two days, we saw a few distilleries, the town of Tequila and Tlaquepaque. Jessie was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He is great. Highly recommend booking with him for a truly personal and unique experience. We will certainly reach out again when back in Guadalajara.

We had a great day with Jessie, our guide, who showed us all the details how tequila is made, we got to taste cooked agave with him and he adjusted the agenda to our speed. The day flew by and we definitely recommend taking a tour with him!

It was an exceptional excursion. Jessie provided us with his expansive knowledge of the history and creation of an incredible elixir. Jessie opened our eyes to the world of tequila by sharing with us his own personal experiences. Jessie was actually physically engaged in the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of the agave plant. His hands on experiences gave him the ability to paint a visual picture that only someone who shares the same passion as those who have lived the total tequila experience. He was patient with our many questions and flexible with our schedule. We certainly recommend this tour with Jessie.
