Great driver and very interesting well informed guide. Guide took her time to disciss the sites and the souk. She literally took us back in time of sidon and Tyre's glory . Was a bit anxious about being in the south but the guide made us want to return to see all the sites we couldn't cover in those few hours.

We really enjoyed this tour, and as I was travelling with both my mother and children, it was great to have an individualized tour where we could decide how much we wanted to do and at what pace. Our guide and driver were both great and very friendly. Wa'ad was super knowledgeable. We also appreciated their flexibility in arranging a wine tasting in Kab Elias instead of Ksara, as my grandparents are from the former, and it made the tour much more meaningful. The only think I would complain about is that I found it a bit surprising that the tickets to the main attractions were not included in the tour price.

We did this tour at the weekend - our guide was Natasha. The weather was horrid, rain in Beirut and snow going over the mountain but that didn't stop us - or our driver. He even stopped for us all to buy umbrellas en-route and offered shoe protection - not glamourous but needed. Natasha was very knowledgeable - happy to answer all questions and chat about all sorts of topics on life in Lebanon. The lunch provided was very good - plentiful and lots of choice. Some of my friends also used this tour company for other trips -= they were also very impressed, so would definitely recommend them.

We actually drew up our own tour itenerary; Wa'ad Khalifeh was our guide! He is quite the scholar and not only had his knowledge at his fingertips but was able to answer all of our queries...and we know the Middle East/Lebanon well. We were thrilled with Wa'ad and will definitely go back for more! Fantastic!!

My wife and I traveled from downtown Beirut upto the top of the mountain and enjoyed the views looking over Beirut as we drove through the streets where the chatoes (castles) had been constructed over the last decades, not very vacant due to the civil unrest. Then on down the mountain into the Bekka Valley. Stopped by a Starbucks coffee shop and observed some of the military installations to protect the city and then past by some of the Syrian refugee camps. All very safe as we would drive through various check points on the way up to Balbeck the crown jewel of the Roman ruins in the entire Middle East! Fantastic - all very safe!

We had a great tour with our guide Abbas. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and made the trip a great experience. All our questions were answered, the tour was slightly modified to match our needs and overall it was a great trip.Anjar and Baalbek are must-sees! Ksara was nice but a little bit too touristy. The wine tasting was rushed and even when you pay the premium package you feel like you are being timed. The wine was great and the staff was very friendly, but maybe substituting this for a smaller vineyard would be nicer.

We opted for the private tour and it exceeded our expectations. Driver George and our guide Georgette were fantastic. The drive over Mt Lebanon and into the valley was scenic and interesting. Georgette provided great information and history about this important region. There were several security stops along the road, but all went smoothly and we certainly felt safe. The drive was comfortable — we were 3 in a van that could easily accommodate 5. Our first stop at the quarry and Anjar was interesting and impressive — a nice, light appetizer for what was to come. The star of the tour is Baalbek. We had (truly) no idea how stunning the Baalbek archaeological site would be and all I can say is that it rivals anything we’ve visited in Italy, Greece or Turkey. We were surprised by how few other tourists were around and delighted to practically have the place to ourselves. Our final stop at the Ksara winery caves was interesting but we are not really wine drinkers so we just did a quick tour with a very intelligent guide who adapted to our pace. We took this tour on a Monday and all sites seemed just for us. While nice for a tourist, it is a shame that more visitors don’t seem to be flocking to this gorgeous country full of amazing history, sun stroked beaches, great food, and friendly people. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour as a “must”.
