Architectural Design of Gianyar Puseh Batuan Temple
Candi Bentar as the entrance gate of Puseh Temple looks dashing standing made of red bricks. Decorated by floral ornaments and curls of temple characteristics, making it more beautiful and unique. Candi Bentar as the gate is a barrier between Nista Mandala (Jaba sisi - the outer part of the temple) with Madya Mandala (Jaba Tengah - the central part of the temple).
Typically a temple building in general, there is also a statue of Dwarapala as a gate guard. But this Dwarapala statue in Paseh Temple is not like in general a giant statue of a temple gate guard. Usually Dwarapala is in a sitting position with one leg bent with a mace weapon, but here Dwarapala does not carry a weapon and is standing up.

Tegenungan Waterfall
Tegenungan Waterfall is a great attraction for nature lovers staying in Ubud or have neighbouring Sukawati among their sightseeing itineraries. The waterfall is halfway between Ubud and Bali’s provincial capital of Denpasar and is considered the closest natural attraction of its kind that you can reach within a half-hour drive southeast from Ubud central. You can go down to the vast pebbly base and enjoy a dip in the plunge pool, but this is not advised after heavy downpours, due to the risk of flash floods. There are restaurants here that serve great local dishes such as the signature Balinese-style crispy fried duck and which serve as good spots to hang out before or after heading down to Tegenungan Waterfall.
