Puka Shell Beach

Puka Shell Beach, originally called Yapak Beach, was named after its barangay (local district). The beach earned its new name from the many puka shells found in its white sand. In Hawaiian, "puka" means "hole," referring to the natural hole in the cone-shaped seashell of a sea snail.
