In a full day private tour from Quito we can visit the lower part of the Cotopaxi National Park, enter its interpretation center, have lunch (not included) in one of the oldest and most historic haciendas in Ecuador, and finally visit a plantation. to know the planting and cultivation process of one of our main export products such as the Ecuadorian Rose.

What To Expect

Cotopaxi National Park

Early in the morning our guide will pass by you and we will go to the south of the city along the Avenue of the Volcanoes, so called historically since, if time allows us, we will be able to observe hills and volcanoes such as Pasochoa, Corazón, los Ilinizas among others until we reach the Cotopaxi National Park where we will register and enter.

Our personal guide and driver were the perfect team to share a day of exploration in Quito. We were introduced to the natural beauty of the landscape in and around the Cotopaxi National Park. Cotopaxi volcano itself was a standout among the rows of volcanoes that surround Quito. A number of bird species were on the Limpiopungo Lagoon and many interesting plants were identified for us along its shores. A surprise was the amazing rose industry in Quito. Learning about the production and export of these beautiful flowers was a treat.

We traveled to Cotapaxi with our guide and driver and had a wonderful time! Both were professional, friendly, and the perfect traveling companions. The volcano did not disappoint and the lake was gorgeous. We even got engaged while here! Highly recommend this tour.
