Green Trails is perhaps the most professional service-oriented tour company I have every worked with. The Jose Otalora is incredibly responsive and customer satisfaction is his number one priority. That being said, our day at Lake Guatavita and the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral exceeded our expectations in every way. Our tour guide Julio was sensational. His English is perfect. Julio is smart, friendly , collaborative and happily goes the extra mile. Lake Guatavita was magic. We were fortunate to have a Muisca local guide and Julio translated. The story of El Dorado was brought to life and made us appreciate the important role of the Lake in this culture. The Zipaquira Salt Cathedral was beautiful and fascinating. Julio generously gave us a private tour so we did not need the Audi guide and we believe had a much richer experience. We lunched at a local restaurant in Zipaquira..excellent. An amazing day. Go with Green Trails. You will be happy you did!
