5.00I sadly didn't have the chance to meet or take a Tour with Ahmed, but he helped me tremendously! I reached out to him a few weeks ago, and asked him to lead my tour. Sadly, he was traveling internationally over the dates I was in Jeddah. But this did not stop him for helping me, as he responded to every questions I had relate to the tour of Al Balad. He even tried setting me up with other guides, but sadly none were available since this was Saudi Arabia's National holiday. I ended up following all of Ahmed's advice, and had an incredible time in the old city! Shukran!

5.00Mr Mahfouz was an excellent tour guide! He arrived early to pick us up at our hotel, was very thoughtful in asking what our tour preferences were and gave us more than we could have asked for. We got to see lots including the floating mosque, the old town of Al-Balad, Al Shafi'i, the oldest mosque in Jeddah. We even got to shop for some souvenirs and stopped to get some lemonade. It all completely exceeded our expectations! Thanks for an outstanding tour which gave us an awesome opportunity to experience Jeddah! We would love to return in the winter season to experience it 😀

5.00Ahmed was an excellent guide, passionate and knowledgeable about his home. He was extremely kind to our family and especially our children even buying them gifts and treats. Of all the places to see in Jeddah Al Balad is most important and you can’t have a better guide than Ahmed.

5.00I had an amazing tour in Al Balad, and I can’t recommend it enough! My guide, Ahmed, was fantastic—knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of the area. He went above and beyond by adjusting the tour last minute due to changes in my schedule, even leaving a corporate event to make it happen. Ahmed showed me around at a perfect pace, never rushing, allowing me to take in the charm and history of Al Balad. He also introduced me to some incredible local flavors, treating me to delicious local donuts and samosas, and later taking me to a hidden gem for a fantastic dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience—great hospitality, insightful stories, and a truly memorable evening. If you’re considering a tour in Al Balad, I highly recommend Ahmed!

Ahmed is passionate about his city’s history and architecture and this most certainly shows. 5.00Ahmed was absolutely spectacular! He is very knowledgeable and very easily able to engage with all the immense knowledge he has about the history of Jeddah and KSA. He was able to easily answer all the questions asked apart from the usual tour information. We really had a wonderful time with him guiding us to all the right places for shopping and eating after the tour ended. Highly recommend this tour with Ahmed! 5.00Ahmed was one of the best guides I’ve had and I been to nearly 45 countries! He has a great passion for his city and when you are with him you will know you are in great hands. Everyone seems to enjoy him in the town and are very hospitable to his tour guest. I felt very fortunate to have seen Jeddah through his eyes and learn the history from him. Shukran!
