I was in Kuala Lumpur for only a day (port call on a cruise) and chose this tour so that I could see all that I could in that short amount of time. Yuvanesh, my driver/guide was amazing and made sure I saw all that I wanted to see. I am a solo female traveler and felt completely comfortable and at ease with him. He was very knowledgeable and informative. As mentioned in a previous review, he did not accompany me into the caves or tower, but I was completely OK with that as I as able to go at my own pace and see what I wanted. He was available through the phone and checked on me frequently via texts. The tour was everything and more that I expected. 5 stars for Yuvanesh!!

A superb way to spend a day’s stopover in Kuala Lumpur seeing some of the iconic sights. Our guide Ayyanar was exceptional and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time at our own pace. He was very knowledgeable and courteous but also had a great sense of humour! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of what to do on a stopover. Thank you! David & Carol-Ann

The full day tour in Kuala Lumpur, including a visit to the Batu Caves was excellent. Our Tour Guide Prabaz was the best.. Friendly, informative and great company! The car we travelled in was comfortable, with plenty of room and great air con! We visited so many beautiful places and would highly recommend this tour. We will definitely use this company again and would ask for Prabaz as a guide if we return to Kuala Lumpur 😊

I've delayed writing this review as I ponder our experience with this tour. I want to be fair and balanced. On the upside, the guide became more talkative as the day went on, and the price was reasonable for a private tour. But there were problems. The pre-tour communications were terrible - I repeatedly tried to confirm arrangements directly with the provider, then tried to do the same via Viator - all to no avail until finally receiving a message the day before the tour. We traveled for 30 hours to get to Kuala Lumpur and were uncertain the whole time if the tour was even proceeding because they would NOT respond. Upon pickup, the local guide/driver was not a good communicator - did not introduce himself (we never did get his name) and we rode in silence for the first 10 minutes. Finally my wife asked "So, are you our driver?" (we thought maybe he was just a taxi driver) and he responded "I'm guide/driver." More silence. I asked "So, can you tell us something about Kuala Lumpur?" He gave us a few stats and facts. This was unprecedented in our experience for a private guided tour. (We've traveled to over 65 countries and regularly book all tours through Viator.) The rest of our day consisted of some commentary from the driver, followed by him dropping us off at a site and telling us where and when he'd pick us up. He never left the vehicle. Think twice if you're booking a private tour in Kuala Lumpur - you can do better than this one. I'd say it was just the driver/guide we had - but I don't even know his name!

5 STAR Review Private 8 Hour (approx) tour Kuala Lumpur with Petronas Twin Towers Observation Deck & Batu Cave (7 Nov 2025). Our Guide/Driver was Sathesh Kumar. Very knowledgeable, professional, kind, and courteous. Ask for him by name. You won't regret it. Pick up and Drop off was at Port Klang because we came by Sea (Viking Venus Cruise Ship). Overall, a very memorable time in Kuala Lumpur. We visited: — Batu Caves, 100 year old temple featuring idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. The temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus. It is a spiritual landmark. Unfortunately, the iconic gold statue of Lord Murugan was covered in scaffolding and not really visible. A little disappointing that we could not see it in all its glory, but still worth the drive from the city. The steep flight of colorful steps was a little challenging but fun. The further you went up, the more impressive the views. There were monkeys and pigeons all around the square. Even so, the area was well maintained and kept very clean due to its religious significance. — East Coast Batik SDN BHD. Authentic Batik Designs. We saw how artists create Batik designs on the fabric and then paint them in order to produce the most beautiful prints for shirts, dresses, scarves, and paintings. We bought a one of a kind Malaysia painting to hang in our house. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for unique and memorable artwork. — Petronis Twin Towers are iconic twin skyscrapers in KL, Malaysia that were the world's tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004. We rode up to observation deck on the 86th floor and took unforgettable city view photos. Must purchase tickets. — Chinatown — Dataram Merdeka Square which is a symbol of Malaysian independence where we saw a 95-metre flagpole, one of the tallest in the world — National Mosque (Masjid Negara) of Malaysia designed in the 1950’s as a symbol of the newly independent nation — Astana Negara, The Malaysian equivalent to Buckingham Palace, Royal King’s Palace — Thean Hou Temple, a 6-tiered pagoda temple atop Robson Heights. Dedicated to the Goddess Tian You (The Heavenly Mother) Overall a very enjoyable day. Thank you Sathesh.

Jag organized an excellent 1-day visit in KL. He picked us up at the hôtel on time and brought us to « the places » to see in KL in less than a full day. Very comitted, with full of knowledge on history and culture, he gave us a big picture of Malaysian culture and key sites to visit. Highly recommend!
