Medina of Tunis
this sprawling maze of ancient streets and alleys is one of North Africa's most impressive medieval medinas and one of Tunisia's great treasures. It's home to numerous covered souks selling everything from shoes to shisha, as well as bustling cafes, alleyways full of artisans at work, and residential areas punctuated by large, brightly painted doorways. Historic palaces, hammams, mosques and madrassas (schools for the study of the Koran) are scattered throughout, many are richly decorated with tiles, carved stucco and marble columns.
La Goulette

5.00Our guide was called Selim and he was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. We were taken to an Tunisian restaurant for lunch which was for a traditional lunch, it was very interesting and nice but it was being hosted by Selim that made it into an interesting and informative event. We all enjoyed the whole day and the history of the places we visited. Would highly recommend.

5.00What an excellent day out. We had a superb guide - Slim. His English was excellent and his knowledge of the area was superb. We visited Carthage, Sidi Bousaid and Tunis Médina and had an excellent lunch. We would recommend this trip to anyone especially if you happen to get Slim as your guide.
