5.00I would highly recommend anyone planning to see and experience Bujumbura and the surrounding area and sights beyond the city to book their tour with Mikhail of Augustin Tours. Mikhail was very professional, spoke excellent English, and planned out a great, personalized itinerary that included seeing the Rwagasore Mausoleum, Belvedere Hill with it’s stunning panoramic views of the city and beyond, Ruisizi National Park where I saw Hippos for the first time alongside bountiful bird life, Musee Vivant, and a lunch in a lovely, tranquil setting on the beachfront. Mikhail was willing to make any brief, unplanned stops along the way if something caught my eye, as he wanted to make sure this was a tour customized for me and my interests. All the tour guides at all the stops were well prepared for my arrival in advance, and I learned so many interesting things from all of them. Once again, for anyone visiting the region, whether it is for the first time or a second visit…Mikhail at Augustin Tours is your guy.
