We booked the “Private Tour of Casablanca with Hassan II Mosque Entry Ticket” and overall had a good experience, but there were a few organisational issues that future travellers may find useful to know. The positives first: Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the day, and we really enjoyed visiting the Hassan II Mosque, Rick’s Café, Mohammed V Square and the Church of Notre Dame de Lourdes. Transport was comfortable overall and hotel pickup was convenient. However, the tour did not fully match the advertised itinerary. Several listed stops were either skipped entirely or changed significantly. In particular, the advertised visit to the Old Medina appeared to become primarily a stop at an Arab pharmacy instead, which was disappointing as we had been looking forward to exploring the Medina itself. Other advertised stops including United Nations Square, the Central Marketplace and the shopping stop did not take place. One planned stop may also have been skipped following a group vote. Organisation and communication during the day could also have been clearer. At the Hassan II Mosque the instructions were sometimes confusing, the microphone on the bus frequently cut out making the guide difficult to hear, and at times it was unclear where guests were supposed to regroup after visits. The tour was advertised as lasting approximately 4–5 hours with pickup at 10:30am, but we did not return to the hotel until around 5:30pm. Part of this was due to a long unscheduled lunch stop, which unfortunately meant we had to cancel our own afternoon plans. One issue regarding duplicate mosque entry tickets was handled professionally afterwards by the company, who acknowledged the misunderstanding and arranged a refund, which we appreciated. Overall, we still enjoyed the day and the guide himself was good, but the organisation and delivery of the advertised itinerary could definitely be improved.

Majid and Youssef made the tour what it was, the greatest 5 hours you can spend in Casablanca. Majid was the most amazing, engaging, and knowledgeable tour guide. He lives up to his nickname… Mr. Google. He took the time to explain EVERYTHING Casablanca, from the history, to personal stories and discussed the multiculturalism that flourishes in Morocco. Youssef was the most amazing driver and personal photographer all-in-one! He showed us the hidden gems of Casablanca, all while ensuring that we got out of the tour what we wanted. Do yourself a favor and book this tour with Majid and Youssef.

Amazing experience! Worth every penny. It was about a 5 hour tour. Saw all the best places in Casablanca. The staff was beyond kind and accommodating!

  • Guide very polite

The experience was more than a driver who took us on a tour of Casablanca telling interesting facts about the city. He knew a lot and was very friendly and polite. In the mosque, we were accompanied by another guide and during the rest of the tour we went down alone to see the Medina, the Rick’s Café and the panoramic view of the city. I think the guide could have gone together, talked more, given more information. But it was worth the walk!
