Experience the magic of paddling at sunrise, as the first light of day reflects off the calm waters of Koh Samui. With a small group (max 4 people), you'll enjoy a relaxed and personal experience, gliding along the coastline and taking in the breathtaking views.
Perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers, we’ll teach you everything you need to know on the day. All equipment is provided, and for safety, participants must be able to swim.

What To Expect
There’s nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand from a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). Glide across the calm morning waters, soak in the peaceful vibes, and learn some basic paddling techniques along the way. Our small-group Sunrise Paddle Experience starts around 6:00 AM and lasts 1.5 hours—the perfect way to begin your day. We’ll provide all SUP equipment and drinking water—just bring your swimsuit, towel, hat, and sunscreen. No need to worry about taking photos—we’ll capture the moments for you and share them after the tour! We keep our groups small to make sure everyone has a fun, safe, and relaxed experience. Suitable for adults and teenagers (15+). No experience needed—this tour is perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. We’ll teach you everything on the day! Start your morning with an unforgettable adventure on the water!

5.00A lovely calm experience and fantastic way to start the day - Ian is a fantastic guide and paddleboard instructor. My first time paddleboarding and managed to stand up and paddle after falling in on my first 2 attempts. Just me and my wife but max group size of 4 makes it an awesome personal experience. I’m relatively unfit and managed it broadly fine - but it did feel like exercise! (At some points more than others) 5 stars!

5.00We were both beginners at SUP and have wanted to give it a go for quite sometime. The Instructor, Ian, was brilliant. Very calm, patient and knowledgable. He took tonnes of great pictures and let us out on the water for quite some time. We will definitely give this a go back home too. I would highly recommend this activity, we loved every minute!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise session. We got picked up from our hotel and driven straight to the beach for the session. Ian was our instructor and provided us an overview on how to use the paddle which was handy because it was a while since we’d both done any paddle boarding. After a few wobbles (but importantly not falling in haha) we soon regained our confidence on our stance and how to work the paddle. We paddled right out to the north east side of the island and back having a good chat with Ian along the way. Once back we were given a bottle of water and driven back to our hotel. Highly recommend!

5.00The Sunrise paddle board tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to Koh Samui. Thoroughly enjoyed by us and our teen aged children. Can't recommend it enough. A trip to Choeng Mon beech is not complete without a paddle board trip with Ian.

5.00I have tried SUP with a friend in Exeter, UK before and fell in love with it. That was why we felt it was a must to do a SUP tour while we were in Samui. Although November is the start of the rainy season, we were very lucky with our sunrise tour. The sea was calm and very good for someone who is new to SUP. It was unfortunate that the cloud hid the sun so we didn't see the sun when it first came out. Despite that, we enjoyed our tour and thought it was very relaxing and a good way to start the day. Ian took many pictures and sent them to us after the tour finished. We will definitely go with iSUP again next time we visit Samui.

5.00My husband and I had never been paddle boarding before but wanted to try something different and this was a great way to do something new and see a spectacular sunrise. Ian, our instructor and guide, was awesome. Picking us up at our hotel at 5:45 and picking the best spot for us to see the sun come up (see photos with the Buddha!) Ian also took loads of photos for us and sent them by email the same day. Overall the 2hour experience was great fun, and well worth the early start. Highly recommended this to anyone who wants to give it a go. Thanks Ian!!
