What To Expect
Jet d'Eau
The Jet d'Eau is the emblem of Geneva. It is 140 meters high and 500 liters of water are propelled into the air every second, at a speed of 200 km/h. The Jet d'Eau is not always in operation, stopping and starting are managed by SIG, the company which supplies water, electricity and gas to the city of Geneva. If you are lucky to find it working and the wind is favorable you can approach it without getting wet.
Palais des Nations
Palace of Nations Built between 1929 and 1936 and located in the center of Ariana Park, the Palais des Nations houses the European headquarters of the United Nations, and is the largest UN center, after that of New York. More than 25,000 delegates pass through the center each year and many works of art are on display there.

5.00Peter was a delightful guide to have showing us around Geneva. He was very kind and well informed on the history of this city. We were able to get a good overview of all Geneva has to offer and were able to stop and take pictures at the major sites. It was a lovely afternoon.

5.00Peter our tour guide was great , arrived promptly in a comfortable vehicle as advertised . I was glad to do this vehicle tour after undergoing a walking tour the day prior . I was initially worried that this service was new with just 1 review but Peter quickly showed me there was nothing to worry about . He took us to all the advertised monuments in Geneva , took our group pics whenever he could and was patient . He’s very soft spoken so you have to really listen closely to hear what he is saying , a earpiece with a radio might be more helpful for groups larger than 2 .
