Our private tour with Shak was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. We started in Edinburgh and made our way through the Highlands, stopping to see the famous Highland cows, old world villages and architecture, local walking areas with waterfalls, and the kind of views that make you just stop and take it all in. If you’ve never been to Scotland, Loch Ness is of course a box to check, but was not the highlight of our trip, the best parts were everything in between. The rural backroads, the local stops that weren’t packed with tourists, and the stories Shak shared along the way made it all feel like home. What stood out most was how personal Shak made it. He took time to get to know us, adjusted our plans when it made sense, and did it so naturally that the day always felt easy. We felt completely taken care of and comfortable the whole time. Scotland is stunning, and pictures will never capture it. You have to see it for yourself, and when you do, go with Shak! It’ll feel less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend who loves his country and can’t wait to show it to you.
