Discover the fascinating history of the Maya at Muyil, a spectacular ancient city in the middle of the jungle. The ruins of Muyil are hidden gem to visit in the region, our expert guides will lead you through this wonderful site with tales of calendars, ceremony and Spanish invaders.
Once we reach the Muyil lagoon, we take a boat across two lagoons connected by an artificial canal that has been in use for many centuries. Xlapak is the name of the building at the beginning of the lazy river and the start of an incredible floating experience in crystal clear pluvial water on its way to the Caribbean Sea. We float for over 30 minutes surrounded by mangroves, orchids, bromeliads and cacti while we hear the sounds of nature.
A delicious Mexican food tasting is included to end the tour.

5.00We did this tour with Paloma as our guide and Irbin as our driver, and it was just great! A huge thank you to Paloma, who made this day incredible. She was always in a good mood, smiling, attentive and really concerned about our well-being throughout the tour. She took the time to explain everything in detail, with a lot of passion and clarity. You can feel that she loves what she does, and that makes all the difference. We started with the ruins of Tulum, a beautiful place full of history. The explanations were very interesting and enriching. We then went to the Sian Ka’an Reserve: a magical and unforgettable experience! The scenery was sublime and the kids loved it. As we were with young children, it was very important to us that everything was well supervised and safe — and it was perfectly the case. A snack was even provided if needed, which is very appreciable attention. We also really appreciated Paloma taking pictures for us, as we couldn't do it while swimming. And finally, she even put music on the way home to please the children. A perfect day from start to finish. We recommend this excursion with your eyes closed!

5.00Alonzo was our tour guide. He was friendly, attentive, and kind. The best your guide one can ask to learn more about Mexico’s heritage in a day. He made sure we had all we needed to enjoy the tour. The tours were great. The archeological site and museum were one of the best international sites I’ve been to. Floating in the canals was a dream. Had the chillest best time with my trip partner. One piece of feedback for the tour company is to ask guests is they have any dietary restrictions. We could not eat at the restaurant that was selected because we dont eat pork.

5.00The visit was wonderful: the Mayan ruins are extremely fascinating, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The most amazing thing is the boat and swimming tour in Sian Ka'an reserve, one of the most incredible experiences of my life for colors and emotion. A special mention goes to Alonso, our guide: his preparation, attention and kindness have made this trip truly special, offering us a brilliant and well-prepared eye on Mexican culture and traditions.
