Come and discover Salazie by private vehicle with driver/guide.

Several magnificent stages are on the program: first, the village of Salazie and its church, as well as the famous waterfall of the Bride Veil.

We will then stop at the charming pond of the Mare à Poule d’Eau, then enjoy the panorama of the Point du Jour with its magnificent view of the circus of Salazie.

We arrive at Hell-Bourg, classified among the most beautiful villages in France. A short walk in the middle of the traditional Creole huts will allow you to appreciate the calm and beauty of this place.

After a good Creole meal, we will leave the circus to Niagara Waterfall.

End of the day: let's go home quietly.

We visited Reunion in one of the port of call from Azamara on Nov 26, 2025. Ludovic is our tour guide for a private group of 6 adults. Our tour of Salazie in 8 hours. He is very passionate and explained to us in details in Reunion's history, culture, religion and current development. He helped us to understand the local cuisine with the diversity of ethnic groups. The actual tour was very good. We just weren’t aware it was an hour and a half ride out before the first stop with an hour ride back.

We loved seeing the many waterfalls on our way to visit Salazie Village and Hell Bourg. We had a wonderful time exploring the villages. Ludovic, our guide/driver was very personable and full of information. Near the end of our tour, we enjoyed our visit to a vanilla plantation and the Saint Denis market. We would highly recommend Ludovic as a tour guide. He responds quickly to any questions when planning your tour.
