The wineries in the wine region around Franschhoek and Stellenbosch produce top-quality wines that are popular not only with the South Africans themselves, but with wine connoisseurs all over the world. Fantastic landscapes also make the region an attractive destination.
On this wine tour you will get to know three wineries and do two wine tastings with a friendly tour guide.
The wineries we visit present a variety between "old" and "new" and "traditional" and "modern". Please read the tour description / tour stations.
We also take two short strolls through the historic town centers of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
2 wine tastings with 3-5 wines each are included in the price.

What To Expect
Fairview Wine and Cheese
We first drive to Paarl, where you not only make great wine, but also excellent cheese. Mighty billy goats with curved horns are also an attraction.
Franschhoek
We continue to the picturesque town of Franschhoek. The town was founded by French Huguenots in 1688, and its influences can still be found today.

5.00We had a great day trip with Sabine to the Winelands. A small group with 3 married couples and Sabine as tour guide and driver. The Winelands are an absolutely worth seeing region in the Cape region. Sabine knows how to create a good mood among the tour participants with her pleasant manner, which ultimately led to many private conversations. Already at the first wine tasting early at 10.00 o'clock !!! a casual familiar atmosphere developed. Information about the country and people she gave to an appropriate extent. In short, a successful day tour at an extremely fair price. Hans and Regina

5.00We did 3 tours with Sabine from 5 to 7 April, which she adapted perfectly and individually according to our wishes, which resulted from the conversations. We drove past an automobile museum during the wine tour, in which we were interested. She immediately took care that we could visit this spontaneous. Over a coffee, there was the opportunity to attend a cooking class. Since we were interested, she immediately set an appointment for us. Thanks to your great flexibility and local knowledge, we were able to visit places / places etc. along our tour that are not in any guidebook. All the information she gave us about the country , the region around Cup Town and the history of its creation was extremely interesting. On our next visit to Cape Town, we will do the rest of the tour with her.

5.00We booked a wine tour with Sabine with tasting, as we were personally completely overwhelmed at over 200 wineries. She made us suggestions quickly and easily in advance via WhatsApp. The day with her was great🤩. She went with us to three very different but great wineries and also showed us Franschhoek on foot. I highly recommend Sabine: a sympathetic experienced tour guide 👍 Thank you very much Sabine 😍
