As a center of artisan communities, handicrafts from every corner of Ubud's neighboring villages can be found here. From Ubud's center, roam through the main street of Jalan Raya Ubud and down to the rows of shops along Jalan Monkey Forest. Or venture further north to the neighboring Tegallalang or the silver and goldsmiths' neighborhood of Mas, Celuk and Sukawati.

What To Expect
Batubulan
Batubulan is one of the famous ART VILLAGES in Bali. This village is famous for its hand Batik workshop and traditional weaving. Beside just for visit, you will also learn how Balinese make their own Batik painting and also traditional handmade weaving. Points of interest on this tour is you learn the traditional batik painting and weaving process.
Celuk Village
Celuk Village is home to a hundred silver and Goldsmith. Here you will see and learn how locals make their own designs of silver and gold Jewelry. You also able to take a short workshop with the local and learn something from it. After the short workshop, we will take you to see their product they display in their gallery and you able to purchase them.

5.00We booked an all day tour and it was fantastic! We enjoyed meeting artists and watching them at their crafts. Our favorite was a family home of painters. Our guide, Parti, was terrific! Both knowledgeable and flexible, we learned about Bali and the Hindu religion. Our lunchtime stop had great food in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Highly recommend Parti and this tour.

5.00My husband and I booked a private tour and it was great! We visited several shops to see artisans working on their handicrafts. Our favorite stop was at the home of a family of painters. Parti, our guide, was generous with his knowledge of Bali and Hindu religion (we changed one stop so we could see a temple) Our lunch was delicious and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We highly recommend Parti as your guide!

5.00What a lovely day! My favorite was the puppet museum -- beautiful, and a green, lovely, quiet environment. the waterfall and monkey park were great, and the guide and driver were terrific! Highly recommended.

5.00My wife and I took the Private Ubud Art tour and had a blast! Our driver Wayan Sudira gave us such a special experience! Despite the rain that plagued us throughout the day Wayan kept our spirits high showing us the highlights of the Ubud Art scene, as well as helping us see a few unplanned gems! Seeing the silver being made, wood carvers in action, the wide variety of painting methods and last the mask museum are all a must if you are in Ubud and want to learn more of the culture. When we come back to Ubud we will certainly use Wayan Sudira for another tour!

5.00We booked this private tour because we wanted to buy some stone carvings and art. Wayan was our driver and guide. Couldn’t have done it without him. Wayan took us to a number of stone carver shops, woodcarving shop, silversmith, art gallery and batik shop. Wayan was so patient, even happy to return us to a shop in the afternoon. No pressure to buy, but so, so helpful organising shipping to Australia. Lunch included at a local restaurant was delicious. Would happily book Wayan again for our next trip to Bali.
