Exclusive, private tour (only your family/group) of the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown (ARMY), some of the Yorktown Battlefields (Surrender Field), the federal museum (National Park Service with General Washington's original tent from the Battle at Yorktown in October 1781), Victory monument, and alleged cave where Cornwallis retreated.
This tour includes an in depth learning experience about the siege of Yorktown that lasted several weeks and explores the surrendering of arms on October 19, 1781 including Surrender Field. The afternoon tour at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown includes the canon firing at 3:00pm (weather dependent from March 1st-November 30th). My wife and I experienced an afternoon Yorktown tour with Bambi. We try to book private tours, when possible, as we get much more out of them compared to group tours. We had read some of the reviews about Bambi, and they were true. She was an outstanding guide - it was more like being shown around by a friend. Her knowledge was excellent and she was able to answer all our questions. And she provided tips on other things to do in the area. Definitely recommend. Thanks for making our quick trip more enjoyable and educational Bambi!

Bambi was a superior tour guide. We first explored the American Revolutionary War museum which was great. Then we toured the grounds which included demonstrations of how to load and fire a musket, and how the sick and wounded were treated during the time of the battle. We then went out into the battlefield which included Redoubts 9 and 10, and Surrender Field. Throughout Bambi gave us a great background of the history and the battle.

Dennis was a wonderful guide and gave us a very in depth knowledge of Battle of Yorktown. We went to several places inside and out to see all the history. It was great, my kids had a wonderful time. Laurie
