Exclusive, private tour (only your family/friends) of the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown (ARMY), some of the Yorktown Battlefields (Surrender Field), the federal museum (National Park Service with General Washington's original tent from the Battle at Yorktown in October 1781), Victory monument, and alleged cave where Cornwallis retreated. This is the only private tour with a private guide at all stops. This is NOT a group bus or group shuttle tour.
This tour includes an in depth learning experience about the siege of Yorktown that lasted several weeks and explores the surrendering of arms on October 19, 1781 including Surrender Field. The afternoon tour at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown includes the canon firing at 3:00pm (weather dependent from March 1st-November 30th). We spend about 3 hours touring and about an hour driving which makes this a 4 hour tour. If we meet in Yorktown, then the tour is about 3 hours, slightly longer if anyone shops at the museums.

Our visit to the Yorktown battlefield was profoundly enriched by our guide, Bambi, whose passion for history and gift for storytelling brought the Revolutionary War to life. Her ability to clearly explain the complex events, circumstances, and key historical figures of the time was nothing short of remarkable. Bambi seamlessly wove together the strategic significance of Yorktown, the personalities of figures like George Washington and General Cornwallis, and the broader context of the war with clarity and enthusiasm. Her explanations were accessible yet deeply informative, making the experience engaging for both history buffs and casual visitors alike. Thanks to Bambi, we left with a far deeper understanding of the pivotal role Yorktown played in America's fight for independence. Her tour was not just educational—it was inspiring. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a meaningful and memorable visit to this historic site.

My wife and I experienced an afternoon Yorktown tour with Bambi. We try to book private tours, when possible, as we get much more out of them compared to group tours. We had read some of the reviews about Bambi, and they were true. She was an outstanding guide - it was more like being shown around by a friend. Her knowledge was excellent and she was able to answer all our questions. And she provided tips on other things to do in the area. Definitely recommend. Thanks for making our quick trip more enjoyable and educational Bambi!

Bambi was a superior tour guide. We first explored the American Revolutionary War museum which was great. Then we toured the grounds which included demonstrations of how to load and fire a musket, and how the sick and wounded were treated during the time of the battle. We then went out into the battlefield which included Redoubts 9 and 10, and Surrender Field. Throughout Bambi gave us a great background of the history and the battle.

So much amazing history! Two days wasn’t enough for me! I could have spent an entire day just at the American Revolution Museum! The free Yorktown Trolley will get you most places you want to see by walking. The Steamer Tour of Yorktown either the day tour or the ghost tour is awesome! (We did both with Yorktown & Co Tours and couldn’t have been more thrilled with the results. We didn’t have time to go to Williamsburg or Jamestown, but would like to do that next time!

Bambi was wonderful. She picked us up at Hilton Garden Inn. She provided snacks and drinks, which was appreciated. The Yorktown Museum was beautiful. This was this best tour we went on. Bambi was very knowledgeable. We loved the firing of the cannon. Enjoyed seeing the soldier's camp and way of living. But best of all, the museum was the best. i would recommend this tour to anyone going to visit.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this tour! Bambi, our tour guide, shared so many interesting facts about the American Revolution and the Battle of Yorktown. She tailored the stops in the museum to our interests. Yorktown would not have been as much fun or as educational without Bambi and this tour. I highly recommend this tour to learn the fascinating story of the Battle of Yorktown.
