  We spent almost a month in Portugal with our wonderful guide Vasco of Premiere Tours. We had a packed itinerary comprising several regions, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, select vineyards and more resulting in perhaps one of the best totally immersive tour experiences. Vasco who spoke perfect English was also a bit of a history buff adding so much to each place we visited. We were constantly amazed at the beauty, cultural heritage and extraordinary history of the Portuguese people who despite being invaded too many times held their own. We left this side of the Iberian peninsula vowing to return. And we would do it all again in a heartbeat beat with Premiere and Vasco.

  Great value. We enjoyed a private tour in a comfortable Mercedes Benz wagon. The tour included a driver/guide who was excellent. Vasco was a young but capable tour guide. He also was a polite and friendly guy who was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Portugal. A bonus was his familiarity with the restaurants along the way. The hotels and attractions were not included in the tour. Our guide was flexible and adjusted the schedule as needed. This was important since we had rainy days. He would find an indoor spot to visit when it was raining. We enjoyed the tour and recommend this company.

  I agree with most of review that "Wallaby" wrote. It is a very comprehensive tour which is really what we wanted, I wanted to basically see all of Portugal and I feel we did that. Our guide, Vasco, was an excellent driver and amazed me in how he could maneuver in super tight places. I always felt safe with his driving. We were with him from 9-5 each day. I was able to chose the hotels, based on their recommendations, and they almost always were good. I would have like to have a bit more free time or at least time separate from our guide since it was just me and my husband. At times I felt it was awkward to not include him with us for lunch (the late lunch) or go to the places he suggested. On other tours we've done, the guide sort of disappeared at lunch time which might have been better since the 3 of us spent so much time together in the car already. I could have skipped a castle or 2 but I'd have the opportunity to review and tweak the schedule so no fault of the company. Ending up at the south end in Lagos, beach area was great and nice to have less history and more outdoors - could have spent another unstructured day in that area easily. Overall, I feel we really had great experience exploring so much of Portugal with Premier Tours. I have so many wonderful memories!

  We did the 14 day tour of Portugal in April 2023. We were a group of 4, and the vehicle was clean, roomy and reliable. Our driver Rui was friendly and helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of Portuguese history and culture. The tour covers all the main sights of the country, both coasts and the inland. We wanted to see the parts less travelled, and this tour certainly delivers. If we could fault anything, it's that the itinerary was too full! The days were long to allow us to squeeze in all the sights, but this often meant we arrived at our destination later than we'd prefer, or not have time for lunch (we never did get used to the Portuguese habit of 3pm lunch, and were looking for food much earlier 😀). Many of the town visits also felt rushed, so fortunately Rui was flexible when we requested (or at his suggestion once he knew our preferences), we skip some places to free up time elsewhere (we were "churched out" by half way through). Our suggestion would be to have a free day in Porto (drop one of the existing planned day itineraries), plus have 2 nights in either Monsanto or Marvao, and 2 nights in one of the Algarve stops. This would allow time to recharge and wander the streets of those beautiful towns. That may mean adding 2 more days to the itinerary, or dropping a night elsewhere (perhaps Fatima, unless that is of particular interest). Either way, Premiere Tours is highly recommended as your guide around Portugal.

  I toured with a group of ladies in September 2022. We had the fortune to hook up with Premier Tours and our guide Jorge. What a fantastic trip filled with insight into the history of Portugal, it’s cities and people and above all little side trips to special places. He made the trip memorable and will go down as one of the best group trips I have been on. His knowledge and humor made the trip.   Our group of 12 women felt very lucky to have found Jorge & Premiere Tours. He took our itinerary and brought it to life! Jorge told us all the history and significance of each site and area we toured. Plus, he added some special extra stops along the way. He was always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, no matter what question or problem we threw at him! Jorge & Premiere Tours made a good trip into a great, memorable vacation! I would highly recommend Premiere Tours.

  A group of 12 friends just returned from an amazing experience in Portugal! Having Jorge as our tour guide, and Liviu as our driver, made our trip even more amazing than I could have hoped. Jorge has so much pride in his country and the history that he shared with us was top level. Our group had an itinerary when Jorge was contacted, and he worked with us to make the trip even more memorable, adding some “bonus” stops along the way. We had so much fun... that we wanted to start all over again instead of flying home. I would highly recommend Premier Tours!

  Just returned home from a 14-day tour of Portugal with Premiere Tours. Jorge, our guide, and Liviu, our driver, were fantastic. Jorge's knowledge and pride in his country were evident. He was so personable and patient with twelve ladies, answering our many questions, often times more than once. He even surprised us with interesting stops that were not on our itinerary. Jorge provided us with a truly memorable Portuguese vacation. I highly recommend Premiere Tours if you are planning a trip to Portugal.
