What To Expect
Zona Arqueologica De Chacchoben
Arriving at the wonderful archaeological area, visitors can follow the signs found in the area without a guide. Among the dense jungle you could have the opportunity to meet and listen to the howler monkey, the different types of birds, and learn about the entire infrastructure of the Mayan citadel.

5.00Our driver was excellent didn't pressureus to hurry. Our tour guide in Chacchoben was very knowledgeable and humble. An added bonus, he knew the Mayan dialect. Mahahual was very touristy. Too much pressure to buy from the local vendors. Other than that small inconvenience, it was perfect. Completely recommend.
