Our route will take us through the longest tunnel in South America, offering a unique experience as we make our way to one of the most picturesque regions in Antioquia. We'll witness a mesmerizing transformation in the landscape. The bustling cityscape will gradually give way to charming farms nestled amidst the grandeur of the Andes mountains, this transition is truly breathtaking, immersing us in a world that feels entirely different. Our first stop will be Alto del Chocho, a typical restaurant conveniently located along the road. Surrounded by natural splendor and stunning vistas, this establishment is renowned for its mouthwatering "Pan de quesos." It's an absolute must-visit spot, providing an ideal opportunity to stretch our legs and indulge in the delectable pan de queso.
El Penol

We had an amazing experience on the Private Tour to Guatapé & Coffee Farm from Medellín! Our guide, Juan Carlos, was excellent — very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing local culture and history. Climbing the 708 steps to the top of the rock was absolutely worth it for the stunning views, and the visit to the organic coffee farm afterward was such a great way to end the day. Everything was well organized and comfortable. Highly recommend this tour and Juan Carlos!

We had a great day with Juan. The tour was well thought out and the knowledge Juan had made it even better! The highlight for us was definitely the Coffee workshop, what a beautiful farm and lovely family, definitely recommend!

Our trip to Guatape was so memorable. It’s quite a drive from Medellin but Juan Carlos kept us entertained the whole way. He was very knowledgeable and his English was excellent. Spur of the moment, we decided we wanted to visit a coffee farm and JC and the team figured out how to accommodate that. With the climb up the rock, Peñol, and the coffee farm, our trip was informative and fun and incredibly smooth. I would recommend this tour company and guide to anyone visiting Medellin.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! This tour was simply perfect, unfortunatelly I had a very short time in Medellín and wanted to see the most I could, and this experience had the combination of the 2 tours I wanted to do the most!! Guatape and visiting a Coffee farm! How can I not book!! The drive to Guatape is just amazing, the mountains, the landscapes, the fields, the farms, the animals, the rural life. We had Juan Carlos as our tour guide and it was definitely the highlight of the tour, he was like and old friend telling us about the incredible history of Colombia and everything we needed to know, and great english! Guatape is a one of a kind destination, the lake, the mountains, the colorful Town and the gigantic rock, it was like a painting!! We tried some typical snacks on the road, ate “delicious” obleas and drank outstanding coffee, don’t doubt one second on booking this tour with The Andes Adventure Travels.

Our tour with Esteban was Fantastic! It ended up being private and as two women we felt safe when we were guided along the trails. We got some private time and a rush of adrenaline on the zip lines and waterfalls. I would highly recommend you book and plan for an amazing experience. It was great for mermaid pics as well on our Ig @callmealchemy 20 out of 10!

This was by far the highlight of my trip, our tour guide Esteban was super cool and nice, very educational throughout the trip and very much bilingual for those that may be worried! I would recommend Andes Adventure to any newcomer to this beautiful city, or even returning tourists who already fell in love with this city and can’t stop coming back! Thanks again to everyone at Andes Adventure I’m sure I’ll see you all again soon!!!

One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve been in, the landscapes when we started hiking we’re just mind blowing, then we started to immerse more and more into the mountains, into lush green nature, where there was all types of birds singing and butterflies flying, the diversity of plants and trees was just crazy and the best of all, we had to hike right through the river, literally, jumping from rock to rock and traversing the water all the way to a gorgeous waterfall, it was a little cold, but nothing that a Wim Hof breathing technic couldn’t solve, it was just simply amazing!! Thanks so much to Esteban our guide that made our trip much more enjoyable and fun! If you like hiking and natural beauty, this is the tour for you!! Out of 5 levels, this is considered 3.5, so a little experience in hiking and trekking is required, and take some extra shoes or sandals, maybe a bathing suit if you want to get in the waterfall!! Completely recommended!! Can’t wait to go on more adventurous hikes with these guys, this is like my 4th tour with them!!
