This tour includes some of the most breathtaking sites of Armenia in southeastern direction. The first stop will be in the old village Areni, where a 6000-year-old winery was found. You will enjoy here wine tasting and a tour around "Hin Areni" factory. Further on the route there comes a flight on the longest reversible cableway in the World – "Wings of Tatev" and a visit of the unique Tatev monastery complex. Yet another impressive stop will be at Khndzoresk cave city, where the bravests can walk along the swinging bridge in search of adrenaline.

Hin Areni Winery
Vayots Dzor and Areni village in particular has been the cradle of Armenian winemaking for millennia. "Hin Areni" wine factory opens up the doors of this region to the world to showcase the historic and indigenous Armenian grape varietals. At the winery the historic traditions of winemaking are well combined with state-of-the-art modern equipment. "Hin Areni" wine factory has the capacity to process over 250 tonnes of grapes.
Tatev Monastery
Among the architectural pillars of Zangezour, the monastery of Tatev does not have its "rivals". It used to be the wealthiest medieval monastery in Armenia. Besides being a religious center, Tatev was also the important strategical center of Syunik kingdom. Being situated on a naturally defended place, Tatev monastery has always been an impregnable fortress for alien. In non-stable political conditions several secret ways in the territory of the fortress led to the canyon and served as a link between the monastery and the external world.

5.00I’m truly grateful to Hyur Company. From the very beginning, when we were designing our individual itinerary, I could already tell how well-organized and thoughtfully designed their website was. It’s highly systematic — no matter what kind of combination or type of trip you’re looking for, you can easily find it. The itineraries clearly show the attractions, estimated duration of stay, and allow you to freely choose whether to prepay for entrance tickets and meals. We joined one group tour and four days of private tours. All the guides were extremely knowledgeable. I especially want to thank our guide for the four-day private tour, Khach, who shared a wealth of historical knowledge about Armenia and its origins. His detailed explanations helped us gain a much deeper understanding of the Armenian people, their nation, and the significance of each site we visited. He was also very polite and proactive — always offering to take beautiful photos for us. Khach managed the itinerary very well, adjusting plans when necessary so we could have a smoother and even more rewarding experience — for example, arranging for us to enjoy a choir performance. Throughout the five days, all the drivers, including Guard, Arts, and Alexandra, were excellent. Moreover, Hyur’s vehicles were impeccably maintained — both inside and out, they looked brand new. Each car had a clear company logo, which gave us a great sense of safety and trust. I highly recommend everyone to visit Hyur’s website — you’ll immediately see how meticulous and reliable they are in every aspect of travel planning.

5.00We had an excellent 2 day private tour with Driver Ashot and Guide Melineh. We explored this region with excellent commentary from Melineh who was extremely knowledgeable. Everything was perfect - thr monastery was breath-taking, the scenery was beautiful. We stayed overnight in Goris. All tour, entry fees and lunches were included. The swinging bridge, caves, cable car ride and winery tasting were all fantastic. Can't recommend this tour and Melineh enough!

5.00Took an individual tour to Tatev with the family, really enjoyed the trip! It was comforting and pleasant, a big thank you to chauffeur Arthur. The car has air conditioning and enough water, the driver knows the places well and takes into account the wishes of the customers.

5.00I had a wonderful tour that included the winery, the monastery, the suspension bridge, and the air tram. Everything was well organized and absolutely enjoyable. Our guide, Marina, was fantastic—she spoke English fluently, shared a wealth of fascinating information, and made the whole experience engaging. Our driver, Ashod, was excellent as well, navigating with great skill and ensuring a comfortable ride throughout. I truly enjoyed every part of this tour.

Sona was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much about the history, culture, and hidden gems of the country in such an engaging way. 5.00Beautiful day with Anoush our guide and Zaven our driver, we really liked the cave villages, the monastery of Tatev and Zorak Kharung with its mysterious side. Anoush gave us a lot of information about the sites but also about Armenian culture and history. I highly recommend!
