Discover Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt, and see the impressive colossal statue of Ramses II. Continue to Saqqara, home of the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s earliest large-scale stone structure. Enjoyed a car trip to Saqqara, Dashaur and Memphis. Driver was on time 8am and pleasant. Amina was our friendly guide, and very informative about the places we visited. Had lovely walk and talk around the Step pyramid. Lunch was lovely and then we were driven back to our hotel about 2pm.

We had an excellent day touring Sakkara and Memphis. We went inside Unas pyramid and princess Seshseset Idot’s tomb - both of which were so beautiful. Tawfik also got us into another tomb, which was great surprise and was also really beautiful! Tawfik was a fantastic guide and very informative - I’d really recommend this tour.
