What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
We will pick you up from your Beijing hotel, It takes 1.5 hours to the Wall from Beijing downtown. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is a little further from Beijing than the most popular section at Badaling, but it doesn't get as crowded. This section of the Wall is fully restored, there are hand rails to help you up on the very steep parts and the views are spectacular.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
Summer Palace. You’ll see an immaculately preserved royal garden, as well as a lake, bridges, trees, temples, and historic pavilions. It’s a popular summer holiday destination for Imperial families, and between April and October, there are Dragon Boat rides available too (additional costs apply). The tour ends with a return trip back to your hotel.

5.00Mr. Guo was an excellent driver and guide for our day trip up to the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace. He was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. He made sure we got to everywhere we needed to be in a quick and efficient manner. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

5.00Our driver (Bruce) was on time and always available. We kept in contact with him using Wechat. He was not a tour guide, but he did speak some English and answered our questions while driving. The car was clean and comfortable. The Summer Palace was nice and I really like the Great Wall visit.

5.00This group is great to work with to get the most out of your adventure to the Great Wall. Jack was quick to respond to my solo tour request with only a couple days notice. He recommended I have an early pick up time due to it being a holiday weekend and it was perfect! Mr Guo was my driver and explained the add on options of the cable cars and toboggan as well as help me plan out the areas with the best views to maximize the time I had at the wall. He got my tickets, walked me to the cable car, took a few photos, and made sure I had plenty of water. We arranged a meeting time and spot. Once on the wallI had about 90 min of my 4 hours to enjoy the views and get pictures with no one in sight. Plus I got the majority of the walk done before it got really warm. It was such a memorable day!!
