What To Expect
Mutianyu Great Wall
We will pick you up from your Beijing hotel, It takes 1.5 hours to the Wall from Beijing downtown. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is a little further from Beijing than the most popular section at Badaling, but it doesn't get as crowded. This section of the Wall is fully restored, there are hand rails to help you up on the very steep parts and the views are spectacular.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
Summer Palace. You’ll see an immaculately preserved royal garden, as well as a lake, bridges, trees, temples, and historic pavilions. It’s a popular summer holiday destination for Imperial families, and between April and October, there are Dragon Boat rides available too (additional costs apply). The tour ends with a return trip back to your hotel.

Not only did she have incredible knowledge of the history and interesting stories, but she also tailored the experience to what we wanted to see and do. Very engaging and natural to converse with. I’ve been on 10 tours in the last 10 days…Kathy was easily at the top. Jenny was also very responsive on organizing the trip and Mr Li drove us around quickly and safely. All around a +5 star experience!

5.00Melody was an awesome guide. She was very informative, easy-going, and fun. She allowed us to have as much time as we needed to take pictures and to wander around exploring. She made learning the history about the Great Wall and the Summer Palace interesting. We had so much fun. We were a family with school aged kids, as well as elderly parents, and everyone enjoyed the time. Would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Mr. Guo was an excellent driver and guide for our day trip up to the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace. He was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. He made sure we got to everywhere we needed to be in a quick and efficient manner. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.

5.00Our driver (Bruce) was on time and always available. We kept in contact with him using Wechat. He was not a tour guide, but he did speak some English and answered our questions while driving. The car was clean and comfortable. The Summer Palace was nice and I really like the Great Wall visit.
