What To Expect

Mutianyu Great Wall

We will pick you up from your Beijing hotel, It takes 1.5 hours to the Wall from Beijing downtown. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is a little further from Beijing than the most popular section at Badaling, but it doesn't get as crowded. This section of the Wall is fully restored, there are hand rails to help you up on the very steep parts and the views are spectacular.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

Summer Palace. You’ll see an immaculately preserved royal garden, as well as a lake, bridges, trees, temples, and historic pavilions. It’s a popular summer holiday destination for Imperial families, and between April and October, there are Dragon Boat rides available too (additional costs apply). The tour ends with a return trip back to your hotel.

Our first time booking a tour from Viator and we were very lucky to have found Jenny's Tour. Jenny helped arranged our tour to the Great Wall & Summer Palace - we had Lily as our tour guide who was very informative, friendly and very helpful. The transportation was very clean and heated nicely everytime we enter it. The driver was polite & drove carefully. Would absolutely recommend Jenny's Tour!
