What To Expect
Tiananmen Square
Your tour begins with pickup from your Beijing hotel at a time of your choosing (typically 8:00am). Traveling by private vehicle, head straight to the first stop of the day - Tiananmen Square, right in the heart of Beijing. Jump out to walk around the vast public space, the largest city square in the world, with space for up to one million people. As you stroll around the grand square, learn more about its importance throughout history and hear about the many significant political events that have taken place there over the years.
The Palace Museum
Continue on foot to the Forbidden City, once the epicenter of the Imperial City and the largest ancient palace complex in the world. Follow your guide on a walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site, admiring the palatial buildings and cultural relics that date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. After visiting the Forbidden City, Will drive around 1.5-hour to the Mutianyu Great Wall.

5.00We booked the tour a day in advance, and everything went smoothly. Our driver, Jack, speaks good English and picked us up on time. During the drive to the wall, he told us some history and was consistently friendly. On-site, he obtained the tickets online for us and accompanied us to the gondola. The car was clean and comfortable. His driving style was very pleasant. We would recommend Jack to our family and friends.

5.00We absolutely loved this tour. A private tour was definitely the way to go. We were able to customize the tour because our tour guide Lili prioritized our interests. We were even able to stop at places that were not listed like the Jade Factory. Lili was fantastic. We were a group of 9, and she was able to lead, guide, and teach us the entire day with ease. She was super patient with all of our questions, and very easy to talk to and enjoy conversation with. My family has been to over 60 countries, and Lili is the best tour guide we have had! Definitely recommend. Request for her if you can.

5.00I had an incredible experience on this private tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall. My driver and guide Mr Guo was awesome. He arrived early and had snacks and water waiting in the car. On the way to Mutianyu we had a great conversation and I learned a lot about Beijing. He even helped me learn new Mandarin words and concepts. When we arrived he helped me acquire the cable car ticket and he even walked with me up to the Wall and took some pictures for me. It was the best way to experience the great wall. The whole process was easy and seamless. if you’re going to visit the Great Wall this is definitely the way to go!

She answered every question we had—not only about the tour but also about the culture—which made the experience even more enriching. She struck a perfect balance between being lighthearted and professional, and was very well organized, keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. What truly stood out was her dedication and care. When we realized we had left our bag at the train station, Susan immediately stepped in and went above and beyond to help us coordinate getting it back before our flight home. Her quick thinking and willingness to assist turned a stressful situation into a manageable one.
