What To Expect
Panama Canal
At the Panama Canal visitor center we can appreciate the ships and their operation. Optionally, if you wish, you can watch the channel's movie where it explains everything and has a duration of 45 minutes.

5.00We had a fantastic experience with our local guide, Jean Carlos, taking us to all the places of interest we wanted to visit. He was very patient and attentive to our needs - especially as my wife's mobility is not 100%. He timed our visit to the Miraflores lock so that we could witness a ship being lowered in the lock as well as watch the movie about the Panama canal. He was very informative. An all round enjoyable day.

3.00Julio the guide was very nice guy. He took me to all mentioned places and helped to do it efficiant even there have been hundreeds of hundreeds people. what i was missing is the story - what ,when,how. there wasnt enough of that

Disappointing tour of Panama

1.00The guys was one hour late he was not following cruise time and did not make this clear . We rode in a small car all day with no air conditioning with temps over 90 with a 84 percent humidity. We sat in traffic most of the day , all have major headaches from the heat and little fluid intake. Then when we got back the cruise lost I was informed I owned another 100:00 for transportation back to the post we were picked up from . First time to Panamá and extremely disappointed!! I paid 350 :00 to sit in traffic most of the day.

3.00Our driver was 45 minutes late with no contact to us and when we got in the van there was a family of 5 already in the van when our tour was supposed to be private.

5.00We had a fantastic tour of Panama with Jennifer as our guide. She was truly delightful and showed us every corner of the city. Our tour lasted longer because of a ship coming into the Panama canal in the afternoon She was very conscientious and knowledgeable My husband is a little bit disabled and she went out of her way to make things easier for him If I could I would give her and the tour a 10

5.00This is an experience not to be missed. We went to all the planned locations and a few hidden gems. The canal is a marvelous sight in engineering. If you're lucky to see a ship in the locks you'll never forget it.

5.00Juan Carlos was an excellent guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered my wife and me a wonderful private tour of Panama City. He met us at our hotel in Casco Viejo and tailored the experience to our interests taking into account that we had already seen some of the sights independently. His English was superb, and he was mindful of some mobility limitations. His tour was the highlight of our 11-day cruise plus an add on stay in Panama City. A wonderful guide, a great experience, and an excellent value.
