Hidden among the Andes Mountains, this small and peaceful farm, surrounded by lush coffee landscapes, we’ll experience an authentic Colombian coffee tour in a truly spectacular setting. During the visit, you’ll learn every stage behind a great cup of coffee, starting with the coffee plant itself and the conditions that make Colombian coffee so special. We’ll walk through the coffee fields while explaining the harvesting process, including how ripe coffee cherries are carefully selected by hand. Next, we’ll explore the processing stages, where the beans are pulped, fermented, washed, and dried — essential steps that define the coffee’s flavor and aroma. You’ll also learn about roasting techniques, how different roast levels affect taste, and what makes each cup unique. The experience concludes with a freshly brewed coffee tasting, where you’ll learn how to properly smell, taste, and appreciate Colombian coffee, all while enjoying panoramic mountain views.
Centro Historico Santa Fe de Antioquia
Step back in time as you explore one of Colombia’s most historic colonial towns — the former capital of Antioquia before Medellín. Founded over 475 years ago, this beautifully preserved town was once one of the most prosperous cities in the country. As you walk through its original stone-paved streets, you’ll notice that time seems to have stood still: colorful colonial balconies, wooden doors, clay-tiled roofs, and centuries-old churches remain exactly as they were hundreds of years ago. During our guided walking tour, we’ll explore the town’s historic streets, main squares, parks, and churches, immersing ourselves in stories of conquest, trade, faith, and daily life during the Spanish colonial era. This experience offers a rare opportunity to travel back to colonial times and feel the atmosphere of a place that has preserved its soul for generations. Perfect for history lovers, culture seekers, and travelers looking to experience the authentic colonial heart of Colombia.

Carlos our tour guide was the best. His bilingual speaking skills were very helpful and he was very knowledgeable. The trip to Santa Fe was amazing and the restaurant was top notch. It was a wonderful experience.

I live in Medellin. I'm a former travel writer for a newspaper in New York, so I'm pretty picky about which companies I use. This company is awesome. They offer great tours at reasonable prices. We've done a coffee tour, and day trips to Santa Fe de Antioquia and to Guatape. Whenever friends visit, we go with Andes Adventures Travels. The owner is very friendly, too.

This is the third time we have eaten here. Normally it is the paella de calimar en su probio tinta. One day we need to try another dish, but this is excellent. I understand that that their normal Colombian dishes are a bit weak, but why go to a Spanish resterant to eat Colombian? The tapas are outstanding. We had an very interesting Bolivian red wine, but I was too stupid to note the name

I cannot say enough good things about this tour and the guide, Daniel. A wonderful day experiencing this small town. Daniel was so full of interesting facts and history! He really does his research and is quite entertaining, as well, with his great sense of humor. His English is very, very good and his demeanor is professional but relaxed and accommodating. And did I mention, he's fun?! After one trip with him we didn't even look into other companies, just called Daniel for everything. So, look no further, this tour company is exactly what you've been looking for. Enjoy!
