The Isle of Skye is a Mystical and Magical place that has long been associated with Fairies. This day long tour from Inverness takes you to some of these places where you can spend time walking and soaking up the Atmosphere.
On our way to the Isle of Skye we will stop at Eilean Donan Castle for a photo opportunity.
The Fairy Pools at the foot of the Cuillin mountains where some visitors are tempted to swim and the war of the one eyed woman took place in 1601 , it is also said that Selkies used to shed their aquatic skin and take a human form and bathe in the pools by moonlight.
The Fairy Glen on the Trotternish peninsula is a lovely peaceful place with some magnificient views and beautiful walks.

5.00What breath taking views! The ride out to Skye is stunning! Billy customized the tour to our liking and was very knowledgable. He told great stories and we learned a lot about Scottish history and culture. He stocked the car with great snacks and even bought more of our favorites for the ride back! He also guided us to the best spot to dip our faces for the fairy blessing! Thanks for taking great care of us!

5.00Our day with Billy on Skye ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip. We were traveling with young kids, and both Lawrence (during booking) and Billy (on the actual tour) made everything feel easy and taken care of. The van was clean and very comfortable, and Billy checked in often to make sure we had water, snacks, and plenty of bathroom breaks — which any parent knows is essential. Most of all, Billy was a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful with our children. It was a truly memorable day for our whole family.

5.00This is a great trip from Inverness, but note it is a long drive to the Isle of Skye and there is a lot of driving once you are on the Island itself. Weather can also be a big factor and can change suddenly. On the day we went it rained the entire time. We still had a wonderful time and our guide did a great job trying to adjust for the weather.

5.00100% recommend! Billy was an amazing tour guide. The van we traveled in was well stocked with snacks, clean and safe. The knowledge and stories were amazing and we had great conversations! It is well worth the cost! Plus they let you make changes within reason to the private tour, so if you want a bit more time somewhere you can.

5.00Must book! We had so much fun and saw GORGEOUS sites. Lawrence gave us great history into Scotland and its landscape. It felt personal and customized to us and our needs. I’ve been on many tours and this was one of the best!

5.00We had a comprehensive, scenic, unforgettable tour of the Isle of Skye. If you want an intimate tour of all the main landmarks of Skye in a day without feeling rushed and feeling satisfied that you got to see all you could, this is your tour. As a side note, Dalmour 12 tastes especially good when standing on top of Quirang.

5.00I am not usually one to write reviews but I truly loved my tour with Skye Fairy Tours! It was a misty day but it was brightened up with Lawrence’s insightful knowledge of the local area and history, and his warm personality. It can be nerve racking at times travelling solo but I felt at ease with Lawrence instantly and was able to enjoy a fun filled day. We went to many sights but my favourite were the fairy pools and fairy glen. It was an amazing tour! I had researched and could not find any other tour that hit so many of the iconic spots in one tour. It is worth your time and money, you will not be disappointed!

5.00It was a great full day! We had Graham as our guide and he was fantastic. He was flexible with what we wanted to do and informed us at each stop what we were looking at and what the time frame looked like. We were travelling as a group of 5 and one being a 3yr old and Graham was so good with him!

5.00There was 5 of us traveling with our 90 year old mother. Lawrence was right on time for tour. He was wonderful making sure our grandmother was well taken care of and able to see the sights. We had a fantastic day!!
