Bath
Visit beautiful Bath in all it's Regency splendor. Much beloved by the dandies and the smart set, home to a majestic abbey, a distinguished university and of course the famous Roman hot baths. On arrival we take a quick panoramic drive, being sure to include the Royal Crescent and Circus, two of Bath's architectural gems, and some of the most desirable properties in the land. We then park centrally and have a stroll round the historic abbey, largely spared by Henry Vlll's reformation, before exploring the Roman Bath's, which are surprisingly intact and the site of one of England's best museums. Here the cult of the Goddess, Sulis Minerva, was held for over 400 years of Romano-British history. Stoll (perhaps stopping for lunch en-route) through the handsome streets up to the Beau Nash House, King of Bath and dandy in chief, he was an inveterate womaniser, gambler and trend setter.
Stonehenge
Visit perhaps the oldest and most mysterious site in England. A temple, celestial calendar and sacred burial ground in one. Once believed to have been conjured out of the west by Merlin, but now revealed by modern science to have been transported from its original site in Wales by Neolithic man , some150 miles by sheer determination and muscle power. Explore life as it was for some of our earliest discoverable ancestors, people just like you and I, who laid down the wisdom of the ages with their intimate knowledge of the sun, the stars and the seasons. Visit their simple homes and see the tools with which they made their world. Pit your strength again the mighty Sarsen stones and see how many of you it would take to move one. Look across a landscape unchanged since the stones were first placed there four and half millennia ago.

Mark is the best tour guide you could ever ask for. Great experience from start to finish and we couldn’t have been happier. We took the Stonehenge and Bath tour and learned a lot of history from Mark about both places. He is such a nice guy it felt like we knew him for years after just a few minutes. He really cares about your total tour experience. We can’t really put into words how happy we were but this is our attempt. Thanks again Mark for such an unforgettable experience.

Mark was a fabulous guide! Witty and wicked fun sense of humor. He is So well versed in everything Stonehenge - he was better than any audio guide. Our experience in Bath was perfectly lovely as well. He found a nice Italian place for us to dine prior to the Abbey. And he was happy to take a few detours for us so we can take in as much as we could in one day! Next time I am in London, we will call him specifically for a different tour!

We had an amazing time touring Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. Mark arrived on-time and added historical insights for each location. Our trip included an excellent picnic lunch provided by his wife Diane. It could only have been better without the rain. The next time I travel back to London I will plan another tour with Mark.

Mark took us on an excellent tour of Stonehenge and Bath. He's a courteous and careful driver, in a super comfortable Mercedes. He even checked in with us the day before to make sure we were all prepared. He guided us through the museum at Stonehenge, explaining the history and highlights. After a little lunch at the cafe there, we visited the outdoor exhibit and then we took as much time as we wanted stroll around Stonehenge, grabbing all the photos we needed. After a short drive through the lovely countryside, we visited Bath. First a drive around the city and then we parked and visited the Bath Abbey where we able to listen to the choir prepare for the evensong. Afterwards, we had a nice dinner at a nearby cafe. It was a pleasure meeting Mark and having him guide us through these amazing sites. We highly recommend this private tour.
